mdbox + sis + altstorage: error in attachments-connector (file not found)
Hello, first time here. I am playing with Dovecot because of its mdbox storage, SIS feature and altstorage ability. I authenticate against LDAP (passdb), but I don't fetch operational data from LDAP (mail_locations are static from config files and "user_attrs = =uid=500, =gid=500, =home=/maildata1/home/%d/%1n/%n"). On a daily basis I run "doveadm altmove -A savedbefore

acl and lazy_expunge plugins are incompatible?
Hello. Before going into deep testing of 2.2.16 (clean install tbd), I would like to know if someone is using succesfully both ACL and Lazy_expunge plugins. Perhaps I had a config error? dsync backup doubles quota
Hi everyone, I recognized a very strange behavior when doing backups of my mdbox mailboxes. After the backup the quota for each mailbox is twice as much as before the backup and I have to recalculate the quota to get the former/correct information. root at mb01:~# doveadm quota get -u test at example.com User quota STORAGE 5 10240 User quota MESSAGE 11 - root at mb01:~# doveadm backup

acl and lazy_expunge plugins are incompatible?
Hello list. Following two previous unanswered requests (http://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2014-August/097449.html and http://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2014-May/096261.html), I fell into the same problem: ACL and lazy_expunge plugins do not work together. I had lazy_expunge enabled working OK. Then I activated ACL plugin, and gave dovecot.2 visibily over paolo.cravero's Inbox: the IMAP

doveadm quota get doesn't recalculate quota (Maildir backend)
Hello, I've noticed that "doveadm quota get" doesn't recalculate quota if maildirsize file is missing for some reason. It just says quota is unknown, usage is 0. In contrast, vpopmail does regenerate maildirsize if it is missing. Reading the Maildir++ specification there is this part: ...If maildirsize does not exist, or if its size is at least 5120 bytes, recalculate

You could remove them with sieve in the latest version of pigeonhole. On Mar 24, 2015 7:33 AM, Florent B <florent at coppint.com> wrote: > > I know about RFC's, but that could be an option, not enabled by default.

Error: Corrupted dbox file
Hello Florent, How did you proceed with the upgrade? Did you follow the recommended steps guide to upgrade ceph? (mons first, then OSDs, then MDS) Did you interrupt dovecot before upgrading the MDS specially? Did you remount the filesystem? Did you upgrade the ceph client too? Give people the complete scene and someone might be able to help you. Ask on ceph-users list too. Regards, Webert

doveadm backup issue with ACL plugin enabled
Hi, when trying to backup mailboxes I noticed some hiccups when the ACL plugin is enabled. It works fine with ACL disabled: $ doveadm -o plugin/quota= backup -u tlx at leuxner.net mdbox:/home/backups/tlx/mdbox However, enabled (and w/ a mailbox actually using ACLs) the following error occurs: $ doveadm -o plugin/quota= backup -u tlx at leuxner.net mdbox:/home/backups/tlx/mdbox dsync(tlx at

doveadm backup: Error: Both source and destination mail_location points to same directory
Hello! I'm using 2 namespaces, "inbox" for INBOX and it's subfolders and "special" containing folders like Sent, Junk or Drafts.??Though both use mdbox I decided to represent those namespaces in different locations "mdbox:~/mail" and "mdbox:~/mail_special_folders". The main reason to use 2 namespaces was to keep special_use folders out of INBOX by

doveadm backup mdbox - initial copy slow
Hello, when calling doveadm backup like in the following example, it seems to flush every email to disk maxing out harddrives (iops) and resulting in very poor performance: Calling doveadm -o plugin/quota= backup -u "statusmails at domain.com" "mdbox:/backup/vmail/domain.com/statusmails" finished in 212 secs [changes:1800 copy:1800 delete:0 expunge:0] The source mdbox holds

Cannot open config file /etc/tinc/XXX/hosts/YYYY: No such file or directory
why dont you place a service dependency on your tinc service init/systemd files to depend on your fuse/mount service? "doveadm backup/sync" are badly documented
Most documents around there talk abour "dsync", but the modern way is "doveadm backup". This command is not documented in the wiki and there are a few details missing, like how to use it thru SSH. I am currently doing some tests about how to backup my mdbox. I can do tests in local using: $ doveadm backup -u jcea -m proveedores/dovecot mdbox:/tmp/aa/ This will

"doveadm backup/sync" don't follow message moving even with MDBOX
Using mdbox as the storage backend, moving a message from a mailbox to another just update a reference. The message is not fisically moved on the disk. I would expect "dsync" to use this fact when source and destination are mdbox. But it doesn't. Anybody else can confirm?. Any plan to implement it?. Thanks!. -- Jes?s Cea Avi?n _/_/ _/_/_/
