a question about certificates from letsencrypt
Hello!
Certificates from letsencrypt are renewed every three months.
Does that mean a MUA has to accept the renewed certificates manually
everytime it is renewed?
Sorry if this is OT!
Greetings

AW: User unknown in local recipient table
Hallo Liste, hallo Ralf,
danke schon mal. Ja die Whitespaces sind beim Rausl?schen entstanden.
Ich verstand das so, dass das nun durch die address_verify_map erledigt w?rde. Muss ich dann entsprechend einfach auf die verweisen?
Ich versuchte gerade die
address_verify_map = btree:$data_directory/verify_cache
auf
local_recipient_maps = btree:$data_directory/verify_cache
verweisen zu lassen.

doveadm sync issues (revised)
Hi,
I'm experiencing serious issues using doveadm sync; mails are not
replicating and/or mails are duplicating. I wanted to use this for
migrating external mailboxes to my server (in order to overcome the time
when some servers/clients still use the old server and some already my
server, as described on <https://wiki2.dovecot.org/Tools/Doveadm/Sync>).
Finally I was able to reproduce

deliver is curious
Hi,
Im' using deliver with postfix (mailbox_command =
/usr/lib/dovecot/deliver -n -m "$EXTENSION").
In dovecot.conf I've set mail_location to
maildir:/var/spool/imap/users/%u/Maildir
It works, but not for ONE "special" email.
If I send mail to e.g. th at trg-oha.de it gets correctly delivered (see

dsync and smooth conversion of Maildir to mdbox
Hi,
I was experimenting with dsync for Maildir to mdbox conversion.
Two isses arised there:
* "subscriptions" only contained subscriptions of that namespace, all
others were lost - Is there any configuration missing on my side?
* "dovecot-acl-list" and "dovecot-acl" shares/permissions were not
synced; UPDATE: if I also add "acl" to

Systemd and listen restriction to localhost not enforced
Hi,
in /etc/dovecot/conf.d/10-master.conf I have restricted IMAP to
localhost only:
service imap-login {
inet_listener imap {
address = 127.0.0.1
#port = 143
}
inet_listener imaps {
#port = 993
#ssl = yes
}
}
However, /lib/systemd/system/dovecot.socket make it listen on
0.0.0.0:143 and [::]:143 causing the service being available to
the public which it should not. - IMHO

flat file dict
Hi,
I'm using version 1.2.1 with acl.
How do I use acl_shared_dict? Especially with file:-dictionary.
What's the layout of that file? Is it possible that the file is ignored
with the current version? If the file doesn't exist or isn't readable, I
don' get any error message.
Best regards,
Sven

click on "Add" I get the following error:
