Reprocess mail through sieve?
is there a way to process a mailbox through an existing sieve script as it the mail was being delivered anew? I?ve cleaned up a lot of my list-sorting scripts and I would like to process a bunch of mail again so it gets sorted properly. If I can do this could I also do it for a specific date range? For example, let?s say io want to reprocess all the messages that are in ?Archive? from between

StreamLocal forwarding
Hi, The code definitely attempts to unlink any old listener beforehand (see misc.c:unix_listener()) so I don't understand why that isn't being called. You might try simulating your configuration using sshd's -T and -C to make sure the flag is correctly being set. Could chroot be interfering? Some platforms implement additional restrictions on devices and sockets inside chroot. -d

StreamLocal forwarding
Hi folks, (3rd time I am sending this message, none of the other appear to have made it through!) Using "OpenSSH_6.9p1 Ubuntu-2ubuntu0.1, OpenSSL 1.0.2d 9 Jul 2015" on the server, "OpenSSH_7.2p2, OpenSSL 1.0.2g 1 Mar 2016" on the client. I am trying to use sshtunnel with StreamLocal forwarding to enable me to connect back to the client's ssh port, without having to

FTS Solr errors using doveadm
Solr 7 returns JSON by default but fts_solr requires XML. Would be good to have wt=xml added to the query to force it to xml all the time, this would prevent errors if solr has not had xml set as default for index. Error: file_preallocate in logs
I am getting lots of these messages in my imapd.log or while I am doing mailbox operations on the terminal. All my mailboxes are stored on NFS and ive set the nfs locking params in the config, only one mailserver accessing this share. Any ideas why this would be happening? doveadm(ops): Error:

Solr with shared mailboxes
We have multiple logins assigned to single mailboxes, so we can give one login to different devices. Does this cause a problem with mailbox guids in solr or is the ID stored within the indexes and not related to username.

doveadm search when using solr problems
Is there a way when using doveadm to search a users mailbox to disable using solr plugin (without changing config file). We have found that solr does not work well with certain search types and reverting to non solr searching works much better.

Subscription Payment Model
Ok, I''m new to the world of actually charging for software, and it''s taken me a full month to decide how to charge in a way that doesn''t make me sleep with difficulty at nights. :) If someone can look at this and verify I''m on the right track or give any hints/tips, I''d greatly appreciate it. Basically, I want each user to be able to apply

reprocessing mail
Hey guys, I had some corruptions whereby dovecot would bomb out on mail files in my maildir.? I found that if piped the files to dovecot-lda the all email was clean &lost. ? I even retrieved email I thought might have been lost for good.? I have some better ideas now, but I still processed a few thousand emails like that now & would like to do something like this: * stop dovecot *

reprocess attachment_fu thumbnails with ImageMagick edits

Webalizer + IceCast2 logfile?
Is it possible? Basically, I want to process the IceCast2 logfile in the same way as I process my Apache server logs? I tried a dry run, and it reported an error with regards to the "date" field - I am currently replacing the date field text "Eastern Standard Time" with the text "-400", to see if that would fix it (that how it is in my Apache logfile). I will

Performance with 200k messages in Maildir
What should I expect performance-wise if I put 200000 messages in a Maildir store and use two or three MUAs (mutt and Thunderbird), on an Athlon dual core 2GHz with SATA drives in software RAID (Linux)? Like; would it be useless/crawling, usable or pretty fast. I imagine MUA startup / first time folder read would be slow, but daily use more or less ok. Thanks to Dovecot's indexing, I imagine

dovecot/pop-before-smtp
Hi, This is off-topic I know, but if anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it. I'm running postfix 2.2.x, dovecot 0.99, and it's working great, I wanted pop-before-smtp functionality, so I fired up the suggested perl daemon in the dovecot docs.. This seems to work, I ran tests, it was picking up the ip's, putting them in the .db file, and postfix was able to read them.
