I'm running postfix 2.2.x, dovecot 0.99, and it's working great, I wanted pop-before-smtp functionality, so I fired up the suggested perl daemon in the dovecot docs.. This seems to work, I ran tests, it was picking up the ip's, putting them in the .db file, and postfix was able to read them.
