Dovecot panic for one user after upgrading
The EC2 instance that I run Dovecot on (personal mail server) was
forcibly "retired" yesterday, and as a result I ended up rebuilding from
backups. In the process I switched from Ubuntu Precise to Ubuntu Xenial
(12.04 to 16.04), and this in turn caused me to upgrade Dovecot from
2.0.19 to 2.0.22. Now, although accessing mail seems to work OK using my
various clients, I am seeing

Fading voice problem
Guys,
I'm having problems in the fading voice calls, receptive and active, that in SIP
accounts. While few people
using the system, calls are perfect, but it beats the normal use of
connections (average 30 concurrent), the voice begins to fade from people.
Soon I figured some network problem, I
did a tcpdump and analyzed by wireshark ...the strange thing is this ...

problem using different dovecot versions
Hi All,
I'm new to the list and may be it's a known issue. I have a set of
servers with RHEL6 and dovecot-2.2.10-1_14.el6.x86_64 and another set of
servers with RHEL7 and, now, with dovecot-2.2.36-3.el7.x86_64. Both sets
write to the same NFS.
Since I updated RHEL7 servers (from 2.2.10-8.el7.x86_64) I've problems

Ruuning dovecot 2.2.10 - Anyone to advise me what is wrong ?
Thanks.

Dovecot panic for one user after upgrading
Hi!
The problem seems to occur during mail index processing. Can you try
deleting all dovecot.index* files under this user's maildir. There might
be some more under various folders.

Hello,
it seems we need a dovecot developers opinion. May be we hit a bug or
cant help ourselves.

Migrating users from a 2.0.19 to a 2.2.24 installation
Hello,
I am currently still running an older dovecot (2.0.19apple1 on Mac OS X 10.8.5) and I want to migrate my users to a new server (macOS 10.12 with Server 5, which contains dovecot 2.2.24 (a82c823)).
Basically, I want to create a new server installation on the new server so I don't bring any junk over (new user accounts, with the same uid/gid (still need to figure that one out), but

Seems no cores, atleast in /usr/sbin/ ( binary is in /usr/sbin/dovecot)

dovecot -2.2.24 on Fedora 31
Hi!
Can you try follow this guide to get a core dump
https://www.dovecot.org/bugreport-mail
then provide
gdb /usr/lib/dovecot/auth /path/to/core
bt full
on it. Would help narrowing down that bug.
Also doveconf -n could be useful.

authentication problem with openldap-2.2.24
My problem consists of Samba + Winbindd + Ldap + Kerberos not
authenticating with Active Directory. For example, if I do 'smbclient -L
localhost -U username%password(active directory account)' I get
NT_STATUS_LOGIN_FAILURE. Ive debugged for quite sometime trying to
pinpoint some sort of configuration that needs to be changed or added.
To my experience I think the problem resolves at
