Indicating context when asking the ssh-agent to use a key
This e-mail is about thinking through some possible extensions to the
ssh-agent communications protocol.
When the ssh-agent receives a request to use one of the keys it holds,
it gets no context information from the requesting system about what
the key operation is to be used for.
My own typical workflow (as a user who actively monitors and confirms
the use of my keys by the ssh-agent) is to

Indicating agent status on the phone
Hi,
I'm playing around with the queue features, and I'm looking for a
solution to indicate the agent status (logged on / logged off) on the
phone (Grandstream GPX2000 or SNOM 190)
It would be nice to use one of the busy lamps...
thanks

Should be fixed in SVN now. Can you confirm?

indicating progress in RGui from a c function
Hi,
I'm sure this issue has come up before, but searching the archives didn't
lead me to a solution or resolution of the issue.
I'd like to indicate progress of a calculation from within a C shared
library to the R GUI. The apparent function call is flush.console() after
RPrintf, but it isn't clear to me what the easiest way to do this is. Would
it be possible to add a flag

indicating group numbers in a dendrogram
Hi,
Is it possible to place the group number in a cluster?
The best example I found was at
https://www.crops.org/images/publications/cs/42/5/1584f4.jpeg (see I, II,
IIIa, IIIb)
It would help to identify the group given by cutree since branches can turn
around and they necessarily are not plotted in order (group 2 is not
necessarily the second from the left).
Thanks for any help.

drawing a line indicating extent of each factored data series in multipanel lattice xyplot
Hi,
Am am plotting aggregated frequency data (extracted from an RDBMS)
relating to DNA sequence features for each of the human chromosomes as
described in the table chromosomes below (the frequency data is in a
table 'hits' that has a value (or not) for each of a set of bins across
each chromosome).
I would like to mark the extent of the chromosome (according to the

indicating significant differences in boxplots
Hi all!
Writing a paper using a lot of boxplots I was asked to mark the
significant differences between plotted groups using "stars on
top".
These stars are found freqeuntly in medical papers and printed
above boxplots when there is a significant difference (usually using a
bar to indicate which groups are meant if there are more then two in a
plot).
I was able to calculate whatever

Tukey HSD plot with lines indicating (non-)significance
Dear list members,
I'm running some tests looking at differences between means for various
levels of a factor, using Tukey's HSD method.
I would like to plot the data as boxplots or dotplots, with horizontal
significance lines indicating which groups are statistically
significantly different, according to Tukey HSD. Here's a nice image
showing an example of such a graphical

Internal state indicating if a data object has NAs/no NAs/not sure (Was: Re: Speeding up matrix multiplies)
Hi, I'm just following your messages the overhead that the code for
dealing with possible NA/NaN values brings. When I was setting up
part of the matrixStats package, I've also though about this. I was
thinking of having an additional logical argument 'hasNA'/'has.na'
where you as a user can specify whether there is NA/NaN:s or not,
allowing the code to avoid it or not.
