discrepancy between r cmd check --as-cran and messages at submission
Dear r-devel list, I've observed at both of my submissions that issues arise at submission that were not pointed out by R cmd check --as-cran For example at my last submission: You have VignetteBuilder: knitr but there is nothing looking like a vignette in your source package.... We also see: * checking DESCRIPTION meta-information ... NOTE Author field differs from that derived from

Hello, A. Craig West, Well, the files from one folder (call it Blues) go to the blues server and the files from the other folder (call it Rock) go to the rock server. both would be given a mount point name depicting the style. ======= At 2019-09-09, 12:53:11 you wrote: ======= >The stream url is not the same as a folder, although they are structurally >similar. another cool use for the vorbis direct show filter
Hi. My name is Lorenzo Prince. I am new to the list, but have been an Ogg Vorbis user for about 6 months now. I am extremely impressed with the quality of the format at all bitrates, and it has become my format of choice for encoding my entire music collection. Well, I just thought everyone might like to know that I have found a possibly undocumented use for the Ogg Vorbis direct show filter.

Errors on mbox to Maildir conversion
I have Julian Fitzell's migrateuser.sh script which uses mb2md-3.20.pl to convert a mailbox in mbox format to Maildir. I have set up a test user called "mailtest" which has mail as follows: /var/mail/mailtest /home/mailtest/mail/ Drafts MoreStuff Sent Items Stuff After the conversion I want all this user's mail to be in /home/mailtest/Maildir/

multi-instance doveadm user -m woes
I'm having difficulty with the doveadm who command on a multi-instance setup of dovecot. When I run the who command on the non-standard instance with the -m flag (to see their mail location), this happens: [root at wardentest3 dovecot]# doveadm -i mailtest user -m warden doveadm(root): Error: user warden: Initialization failed: Namespace 'INBOX.': Ambiguous mail location setting,

Deploying in subdir w/ Apache and Mongrel
Hi all, I have been searching for the past 2 or 3 days on how to deploy my rails apps within subdirectories (ie: http://www.domain.com/myapp or even domain.com/rails/myapp) and have found a few tutorials, but all have left something out it seems. I would like to do this rather than http://myapp.domain.com/ since it will be usd internally and I have no real direct access to dns to make the

doveadm "-S <socket_path>" option enabled in 2.0.8?
I apologize if this is a stupid question but I just compiled 2.0.8 and am trying to use doveadm to get the quota for a user using the -S <socket_path> option because I have different options for the various local IPs that dovecot listens on. For example, my default quota is filesystem (NFS rquota) and I can get that by doing: doveadm quota get -u warden which tells me: Quota name
