I have a pigeon sive running which directs some of my received mail to the Junk folder. That works just fine. However, a couple minutes later, it is moved to Deleted mailbox and deleted from Junk. I have been updating my FreeBSD systems for many years by updating and building from source. For the FreeBSD 9.2 cycle, I decided to use freebsd-update for binary update instead. I use Sendmail + Cyrus-SASL and the freebsd-update process only installed a 'bare bones' binary. How do I compile just Sendmail from source so that it uses my /etc/make.conf for the smtp_auth components?

Still not quite got my head around what you are expecting to see. Presumably folders for other dates in September. Depending on how and why those folders were created they may not exist. I do note that you used an ls to show the folders, and I'm assuming from the config below you are using Maildir, so try an ls -a to show the hidden folders too (those starting with a .).
