Hello, I have noticed that smbclient returns an error code when a windows server has disabled NetBIOS, but should it do this, if you know NetBIOS has been disabled. I think there should be a flag to indicate that you don't want to check port 139 (NetBIOS). For example the following command which tries to connect to a Windows server with NetBIOS disabled returns an ERROR! $ smbclient -L

Hopefully a quick question. My Windows AD administrator is moving to Windows 2008R and is about to switch off the last Windows 2003 domain controller. He also wants to switch off the compatible WINS and NETBIOS off as well. Does samba 3 work in this environment or do I need to tell him to keep then working? Hi, Has anyone seen the following problem? After "lofiadm -d" removes an association, the file is still locked and cannot be moved or deleted if the file resides in a ZFS mounted with nbmand=on. In these folders a userA in GroupA create file just fine with the correct inherited permissions 660. I've started work on a rewrite of sorts for the dbus plugin that changes how it listens/responds to messages to make it possible to generate introspection data. The main changes are registering every plugin, screen, option, etc with dbus_connection_register_object_path and using libxml2 to generate the introspection data. Do we have enormous fragmentation here on our X4500 with Solaris 10, ZFS Version 10? What except zfs send/receive can be done to free the fragmented space? Beryl has this mask called PAINT_WINDOW_DECORATION_MASK that the decoration plugin sets when it's drawing the decorator windows.
