centos6 not using /etc/gdm/custom.conf
In CentOS5 you were able to create a server section in /etc/gdm/custom.conf such as [server-Standard] name=Standard server command=/usr/bin/Xorg -br -audit 4 -s 15 chooser=false handled=true flexible=true priority=0 After this change, Xorg would run with the -br -audit 4 -s 15 options. Unfortunately in CentOS6 this is not the case. It completely ignores anything put into custom.conf as far

Followed the tutorials on workaround.org <http://workaround.org/> which were very helpful! but don?t include much info if things don?t work 100%? and so far I haven?t been able to pin down where the error is. Please help: error after upgrade to version 2.1.16
Hallo I can not find a forum at dovecot.org and I get a problem I can not solve. After Updating to the version dovecot2? 2.1.16? I can no more get eMails with my eMail-client. All has been working fine before. Server: FreeBSD 10.0-RELEASE-p18, with perl 5, version 18, subversion 4 (v5.18.4) ? It seems it is an authentication problem with my server. The errors are: #cat dovecot.log Apr 17

Mapping a network drive to a Windows Drive Letter
We have this working. however Some developers edit files using "windows editors" and when they then copy them to the Windows Drive Letter which is mapped to a Unix machine, the resultant file is full of ^M characters..... build breaks..... and so on Until now we have been telling users to run "dos2unix" beforehand, but somebody told me that "Samba" can

[LLVMdev] type mismatch mystery solved
Reid, I finally figured out why my types were mismatching in my hand-decoded bytecode example when it worked fine in my actual code. It turns out that I was not leaving out the extension bits when I was hand decoding the VBRs. D'oh! Everything matches up now. Also figured out why the bcanalyzer is spitting out all those pointers to opaque. These types are forward references and they

separate passdb for imap and pop3
Hi! Is this possible? I couldn't find any writings about the 'auth' (like 'auth default') keyword in the wiki. What does that mean? Can I setup seperate user and password dbs for sepearate circumstances? I've tried to experiment with it and added two auths: auth pop3 { mechanisms = plain digest-md5 passdb passwd-file { args = /etc/dovecot_pop3.passwd }

configuring a package for own personal needs
Hi All, There is a function in package "R2Cuba" called Cuhre that I need to use. It keeps spitting out a new-line which I really dont want it to do. So I was wondering what is the best way of configuring the package. I tried copying and pasting the code into Cuhre2 and getting rid of the newline command BUT that didn't work since it seems to have some private functions which I do

How to dump broken IR from LLVM backend?
My pass complains and gives up after spitting out: ====================================== Instruction does not dominate all uses! %44 = icmp ne i8** %endptr, null br i1 %44, label %32, label %33 Instruction has bogus parent pointer! ====================================== Is there any way to dump the entire IR even in broken form from the backend so that I can inspect what's going on? --
