RPMs for Fedora and RHEL/CentOS
Hi Michael,
thx for suggestion. Yeah, it would be cool just to rebuild Fedora
package for RHEL 7, but unfortunately I need dovecot for RHEL 6 :\
I found few repos that have newer version, then that in offical repo,
but trustworthy is very important here.
Thanks

I'm running centos 6.6 with the default 2.0.9-xxx dovecot.
I run sa-learn against my spam_to_learn folder, then I wan to move those emails
to a learned_spam folder.
when I do a doveadm -Dv move -u user learned_spam mailbox 'spam_to_learn' ALL
I get this result:

Peter, thanks.
I've followed GhettoForge's Postfix page, so far so good
but, I'm not that sure of getting dovecot22...
do I need to do a 'yum shell --enablerepo=gf-plus', followed by install,
run, quit;

Are you talking about the new server or the older one that I have to replace?

ot: 2.2 ghettoforge install systemctl Q
I've installed new Centos 7 with Dovecot 2.2 from ghettoforge and, used
/etc/dovecot from current Centos 6 Dovecot 2.1
I can start/stop Dovecot with dovecot / doveadm stop
BUT when I tried 'systemctl' I get
# systemctl status dovecot
? dovecot.service - Dovecot IMAP/POP3 email server

Packages for CentOS 8
I've now successfully built Dovecot packages for CentOS 8 that do not
have the quota support stripped out. I was able to do this because
CentOS has now finally shipped the quota-devel package as well as the
other -devel packages that were previously missing from CentOS 8.

CDB tables in Centos7 Postfix ?
Hi,
It seems the default binaries don't have CDB tables compiled into them ?
Now, I know Centos isn't Ubuntu, but on Ubuntu there is an optional
package in the main distribution "postfix-cdb - CDB map support for
Postfix". I can't find anything similar using "yum search", so I'm
guessing that's not an option.
Unless anyone else here corrects me

Server migration
Hi
i have to migrate, online, a dovecot 1.2.15 to a new server. Which is the
best way to accomplish this?
I have 2 possibility:
1) migrate from the very old server to a newer server with the same dovecot
version
2) migrate from the very old server to a new server with the latest dovecot
version
can i simply use rsync to sync everything and, when the sync is quick, move
the mailbox from the old
