Dovecot (director, lmtp) IPv4/IPv6?
Hello,
I'm build system with two director/proxy and dual stack network (or
IPv6-only local services)
http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Director say "This also means that a single
director ring must use either IPv4 or IPv6 addresses, but not both at
the same time." OK
All servers have 2 interface (public and local network), and all dual
stack IPv4/IPv6, imap/pop (mail) and lmtp (mx) proxy run

Segmentation fault on doveadm search -A with a huge user base
Hi,
I'm using dovecot 2.2.9 with a director/backend setup. The user base is
about 4711 users currently.
If I start at one of the directors
doveadm search -A all savedbefore 5000d
it terminates with
doveadm(1rrissma): Error: doveadm server disconnected before handshake: EOF
doveadm(1rrissma): Error: 2001:638:913:f33::5:ff:24245: Command search failed for 1phaaman: EOF

TLS handshake issue
dovecot-2.0.9 on CentOS 6.7
The system in question is not connected to the Internet, so I can't
copy-and-paste. I have to type anything required :-(
Brand-new out-of-the-box install with a really minimal dovecot.conf
including:
service imap-login {
inet_listener imaps {
address = 192.168.1.10
port = 143
ssl = yes
}
}

postfix-2.2.10-1.1.el4.centos.mysql_pgsql.plus.i386.rpm. Changelogs are

Question about SSL/TLS for ldap and samba
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Hi,
I read in samba-howto-collection :
"To remedy the first security issue, the ldap ssl |smb.conf| parameter
defaults to require an encrypted session (ldap ssl = on) using the
default port of |636| when contacting the directory server. When using
an OpenLDAP server, it is possible to use the StartTLS LDAP extended

Userdb userdb_mail=, error Mailbox list driver maildir++: maildir_name not supported by this driver
With this setting, all folders are empty, I guess understandable,
because the mdbox has its own indexes stored locally with it. Does not
explain though why inbox is empty.

dovecot:/home/popusers/test:/bin/false:userdb_mail=mdbox:~/mdbox:INBOX=/

Userdb userdb_mail=, error Mailbox list driver maildir++: maildir_name not supported by this driver
I have this default configuration [0], when use the userdb_mail to point
to the mdbox location, the inbox subfolders show differently in a
firebird client. So I decided to copy the whole default mail_location
into the userdb_mail configuration [2]. But then I get errors [3].
Should I change the namespace configuration here, how? My default
namespaces are inbox and 4archives

RPM errors after moving /lib/tls to /lib/tls.disabled
Hello,
I have been testing the latest unstable version of xen and noticed that after I
move /lib/tls to /lib/tls.disabled I start receiving errors whenever I try to
execute an rpm command (or yum commands - related to rpm). Just as an example
here''s an error:
rpm --import RPM-GPG-KEY

Samba 4.2.x requiring TLS authentication
Hi everyone,
I have installed a Samba AD DC version 4.2.11-20 in a Centos 6.7 machine
and joined it in an existing domain. Everything seems working fine except I
can't bind to it using LDAP simple authentication. When I try to perform a
simple ldapsearch I get the following response:
ldap_bind: Strong(er) authentication required (8)
additional info: BindSimple: Transport encryption required.
