NetBios name <1b> type record (Neighborhood browsing) !
Questions are about <1b> NetBios type record name for workgroup (for workgroup, not for node) . There is local subnet with Samba4 as DC (either Win NT or Win NT+) for mdom.net domain, and as following, there is mdom workgroup in neighborhood. But there are some other domain and/or non-domain workgroups in the subnet which Samba4 does not belong to. Is <1b> had to be registered by

[PATCH 15/24] compat_ioctl: scsi: move ioctl handling into drivers
Each driver calling scsi_ioctl() gets an equivalent compat_ioctl() handler that implements the same commands by calling scsi_compat_ioctl(). The scsi_cmd_ioctl() and scsi_cmd_blk_ioctl() functions are compatible at this point, so any driver that calls those can do so for both native and compat mode, with the argument passed through compat_ptr(). With this, we can remove the entries from

how to deliver when username and email differ
I have an Active Directory virtual setup and am using LDA to deliver to local recipients. Today I found a big problem with my configuration and not sure if this is fixable. Some of the users have multiple email addresses and the %n variable for user doesn't match their actual username. So if I have realname "Joe Bob" with a username of "joe" and an email of "jbob at

Anyone with RedHat Subscription?
Does Anyone with a RedHat subscription able to give a hint as to what the solution to the following knowledgebase article is: https://access.redhat.com/solutions/2801051 I'm having a similar issue with an SFP on a Centos host, and am searching for a way to view Optical RX/TX Power on the SFP. From the switch side, I'm not seeing any RX Power from the Centos host. Thanks in advance

Anyone with RedHat Subscription?
This is kinda of why it makes sense to purchase at least one license. I would start with a loop back test on both ends. Dirty ports happen. Did you grab the most recent version of ethtool and build it? > -----Original Message----- > From: CentOS <centos-bounces at centos.org> On Behalf Of Giles Coochey > Sent: Tuesday, July 2, 2019 9:19 AM > To: CentOS mailing list <centos

Anyone with RedHat Subscription?
Their "resolution" is: Update to RHEL 7 to get the more recent ethtool output format. You should be able to build a newer ethtool from source (or depending on your NIC manufacturer, they may supply a tool with more recent features. Solarflare, for example, provides 'sfctool', basically new ethtool features for old kernels). Thanks, Scott On Tue, Jul 2, 2019 at 8:19 AM Giles

Hello list, I have an issue with dovecot and Ldap... Any help will be grateful... I have my virtual users stored in an Active Directory database. Problems getting nouveau to work with either Geforce GT710 or Geforce 9800GT on ARM Cortex-A9
Sorry for alI these individual emails, but I think is more readable this way, by having each independent information in a separate email. I also have these additional cards that I can try: Gefoce GT 1030 and Geforce GTX 1050 Ti. I have tried Geforce GT 1030 and it is working nicely but without hardware acceleration. Without the hardware acceleration I am able to get into X (Ubuntu Mate 17.10)

Help with voicemail
I'm looking to use * for a HQ/branch office topology with fairly few calls over the WAN. The questions I have all pertain to the following architectural pic: http://www.45891.com/misc/arch.jpg I'm looking at a distributed architecture so users are somewhat functional when the link to HQ is down, with a centralized voicemail server to allow for transfer of voicemail messages from user to

pop3 mailbox mirroring issues using dsync
Hello, I have setup v2.2.12 to mirror mailboxes between our main mail server (vmail.example.com) and a failover server (vmail1.example.com). The problem I have is the behavior of mailboxes used on the main server (*vmail*) over POP3. I have setup an IMAP account on the failover server (*vmail1*) on such a mailbox: the mailbox is used on vmail using POP3 and the same is monitored on vmail1

postfix, dovecot, samba, winbind
Hello List, we're currently working on the migration of our LDAP/Samba3-Domain to Samba4-Active-Directory. So far everything works fine. Postfix can deliver Mails using ProxyAddresses-Information from the AD and Dovecot delivers the mail. Unfortunately when Postfix tells Dovecot to deliver the mail he submit the username without the AD-Domain part: Feb 28 17:17:59 tpdc
