Auto discard sieve vacation messages
I have deploy an environment with pigeon sieve, managesieve, dovecot,
squirrelmail and avelsieve plugin.
The vacation messages are working fine.
I am looking for a method to discard vacation messages in some date,
when the user returns.
Has somebody looked in this feature?
Thanks a lot,

Discard mail with from date older than xxxx
I know that sieve doesn't do math. The file would be created externally.
Based on examples in section 4.4 of
https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5260#section-4
I figured something like this would work.
if date :value "le" :originalzone "date" "date" "2018-10-25" {
??????? fileinto "SPAM";
??????? stop;
}
However, I get the following.

Sieve "OOO" configuration
I am able to get sieve issuing an "out of office"message correctly.
However, I want to configure it to send an "OOO" message only during
certain dates, say on weekends, or only between certain hours. I can do
that manually; however, was wondering if there is any automatic method
available that could handle this chore.
Thanks!

sieve_extprograms - double linebreaks at filtering
Hello List,
i have a problem when using sieve-plugin sieve_extprograms. I use
dovecot 2.2.18 and bundled pigeonhole 0.4.6 (Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS)
i have enabled sieve_extprograms and vnd.dovecot.filter to send mail to
user-defined script and get changed content back.
My script previously was used with procmail and is working fine.
Using same script with vnd.dovecot.filter leads to odd behavior.

sieve script not executed?
Hello.
I'm trying to set up a vacation autoresponder but up to now, no success.
I'm using dovecot managedsieve to set up the new filter and to my
understanding it works correctly and it creates in the user's home the
link .dovecot.sieve that points to sieve/managesieve.sieve
~$ cat .dovecot.sieve
require ["date","relational","vacation"];

sieve_extprograms - run any individual script?
Hello,
i use sieve extension sieve_extprograms to send incoming mail to some
script.
For security reasons it is needed that script-paths etc. are registered
in dovecot.conf
This is my current dovecot.conf
plugin {
sieve = ~/.dovecot.sieve
sieve_plugins = sieve_extprograms
sieve_extensions = +vnd.dovecot.pipe +vnd.dovecot.filter
+vnd.dovecot.execute

Reset vacation lda-dupes database
Hello, I have dovecot 2.2.6 and pignenhole 0.4.2 running on freebsd9.1. We have a mix of unix users (/home/user) and postfixadmin users (/home/vmail/domain/user).
I am using dovecot managesive with afterlogic webmail which has a managesieve plugin to set the out of office message. All works fine. I have sieve_vacation_default_period set to 1d.
The problem I'm trying to solve is that users

use of apply in a data frame on a row by row basis
Hello all,
I'm trying to use the apply function on a data frame,
by applying a function that takes a one row data.frame as argument .
Here's the example :
myfun = function(x) paste(x$f1 , x$f2)
df = data.frame(f1 = c(1,4,10),f2 = "hello")
apply(df,1,myfun) ==> Does not work (I get "character(0)" )
Though : myfun(df[1,]) works,
and myfun(df) works as well.
So if

Sieve: adding Date: header when missing
Hello,
there is a way with a sieve rule to add a Date: header when it is
missing? Adding one with the time of reception of the message or using
the date from the the first Received: header would be good options.
Unfortunately I'm receiving some useful automated messages that lack a
Date header and this screws up the sorting in my imap clients. I have a
script to fix those acting on the

}
}
}

sieve - find in header
Hello list,
have a problem with sieve script. I want to perform an action if an
arbitrary headerline contains a defined string.
I tried with regex:
if header :regex [".*"] ["searchstri.*"]
{
fileinto "junk";
}
This is not working because regex is only used in 2nd argument
["searchstri.*"]
In 1st argument [".*"] no regex is used, sieve

procmail/formail --> Maildir
Hello List,
i switched mailformat from mbox to maildir. Now i have a little problem with procmail/formail and headermanipulation of mails.
Here an example:
0
* ^From.*gmx.de
| (formail -t -I"procmail: gmx.de") >> /var/spool/mail/xxxxxx
So, i can add some different headerlines for later evaluation and the result is attached to inbox.
Now i have the problem that i don't know
