Path confusion
Dear wine gurus, I'm trying to run a program installed like this: /usr/local/program/program.exe which also contains a subdirectory: /usr/local/program/subdir/ with some files. When typing: $ wine /usr/local/program/program.exe I get an error mesage like: "File \subdir\some_file not found!" The problem can be solved by putting the subdir to the root directory of the computer

Interfacing AT&T Spirit System to Asterisk
Greetings, Does anyone know if there is a cost effective way to interface an older AT&T Spirit system into Asterisk. I'm only interested in A) being able to offer voicemail and B) possibly an AAT to callers. I've thought about just stringing the FXO cards into the line1/2 slots that go into the Spirit system... asterisk would pickup if no one answered the Spirit phones.... however....

[LLVMdev] Difference in behavior between local machine and buildbot
Hi I'm running the nightly test suite locally and getting a difference with the output from this buildbot (http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/clang-x86_64-debian-fnt/builds/1168/steps/make.test-suite/logs/stdio) For .ll tests the buildbot does the following (look for spirit.cpp in that link. Only comes up twice, one of which is this one)

Announcing Spirit Markdown
Here is another implementation of Markdown, this time in c++ using the Boost Spirit library. Spirit Markdown is written in (hopefully!) idiomatic modern c++ and a full suite of unit tests are provided. It is licensed under the Boost Software License (OSI compliant). The purpose of writing this is: * for me to gain expertise in the use of Spirit, both through direct experience and public review,

Drag'n'Drop problem
Hi, Under certain circumstances, dnd doesn't work on my system with Qt applications. This only happens when Compiz is active and with Qt-native applications (such as Qt's dnd demos). Applications using GTK or KDElibs are unaffected. To make things even more strange, the dnd works on part of the screen (top-left), but after the mouse cursor dragging an item goes beyond a certain

LDAP builtin not found
Guys, I got the samba 3.0.4 source rpm and samba 3.0.4 patch. So I applied the patch with succefful and included in samba3.spec --with-acl-support. I build a new package using rpmbuild -ba samba3.spec and so I instaled the new package. After, I saw these messages on /var/log/messages May 26 15:02:21 spirit smbd[20303]: No builtin nor plugin backend for ldapsam found May 26 15:02:21 spirit

Slow disk access on Dell Latitute with ATA/ATAPI-5 T13 1321D
Hi... I have a Dell Latitute with an ATA/ATAPI-5 T13 1321D and it would seem that my disk access is extremely slow. I have the latest updated kernel from RedHat 8.0 kernel 2.4.18-27.8.0. Somehow I think it is related to the UDMA stuff (shows my level of understanding). I have run hdparm and although I think I should at least udma level 5, I have at most udma2 listed. Is this a kernel

[External] Feature Request: User Prompt + Message First Execution when "Managing Search Path Conflicts"
You can get what you are asking for now in R 4.0.0 with globalCallingHandlers and using the packageConflictError object that is signaled. This should get you started: ``` options(conflicts.policy = "strict") packageConflictError handle_conflicts <- function(e) { cat(conditionMessage(e)) opt <- readline(prompt="1: mask.ok; 2: exclude. Choose: ") if (opt

Importing function that is previously imported by other package
Dear developeRs, I encounter the following problem: in the current version of my package FrF2, certain calls to a functioni do not work when package combinat is loaded, because function combn from combinat masks the function from utils that my package uses. I tried to solve this issue by importing function combn into the namespace of FrF2; I don't need to export it, I just want to use it
