Installing SOGo on Centos 5
Hello, I was following directions at: http://www.sogo.nu/english/support/faq/article/how-to-install-sogo-and-sope-through-yum-1.html to install SOGo on CentOS 5.9 and, noticing that among the dependencies is memcached and rpmforge includes a much more recent version than EPEL, I preferred rpmforge and therefore I set a higher priority for rpmforge repo (see below). [Note: I guess I could have

Exchange-replacement with SOGo
I thought some people here would be interested: Recently SOGo added support for OpenChange, which means Outlook can natively access it via MAPI the same way as Exchange. Everything is open source, and the great thing about SOGo is that it uses existing IMAP server for mails rather than reimplementing yet another one itself. They seem to prefer Cyrus, but apparently Dovecot should work too. For

centos IDM + sogo
Hello, We are testing the Centos LDAP Directory Server but are running into issues with applications (SOGo) authenticating against the LDAP system. The crux of my question is, can I just treat the Centos Directory Server as a generic OpenLDAP configuration on the client side? In more detail when I try to add account via ldapadd: -------------------------------- ldapadd -f sogo.ldif -x -W -D

why is dovecot "Allowing any password"
On 03/22/2018 09:34 AM, Aki Tuomi wrote: > I have no idea*WHY* it is required by SOGo. It does not make sense. Well, the thing is: SOGo has this ability to behave like a *real* exchange server, as if it's running on a windows server. And this enables Outlook to connect to it like it would to an exchange server. (so: not in imap mode, and not using regular username/password
