bug report: dovecot-imapd core dump
Hi, Since I did not get any specific suggestions about this bug, I am attaching another backtrace. Any suggestions for workarounds etc would be appreciated -- should I regenerate the index? Or install a dovecot from the repo where this might be fixed? Is this a known bug? Best, Tamas -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Name: dovecot-gdb Type:

2.2.12: Panic: file mail-index.c: line 380 (mail_index_keywords_unref): assertion failed: (keywords->refcount > 0)
I upgraded 2.1 -> 2.2 something like a week ago because I needed INDEXPVT. Not sure if this crash started immediately or not, noticed it today looking at journalctl. Backtrace http://bpaste.net/raw/181944/ and pasted below. This seems to crash on every IMAP connection made, so any ideas for a possible client-level workaround are quite welcome until dovecot code improves here. root at

mailbox_list_index_parse_header crash
Hi, I got all excited about IMAP NOTIFY support and tried enabling mailbox_list_index on my server. Unfortunately, I rather quickly ran into trouble of the segfault variety. This prevented me from doing basic things like seeing the contents of some of my folders. Disabling mailbox_list_index got me back up and running, but... darnit, that's annoying. The only message I got in my log file

2.2.14 Panic in sync_expunge_range()
I am getting some panics after upgrading from 2.2.13 to 2.2.14 This panic happens for one user only, he is subscribed to 86 folders, on two of them this panic happens quite often - several times a day. The mbox folders seems OK, less than 30M with 30 and 200 messages. Panic: file mail-index-sync-update.c: line 250 (sync_expunge_range): assertion failed: (count > 0) hmk GNU gdb 6.8

Panic
(I'm not subscribed, please keep me CC'd) Hi, since a few months I'm experiencing repeated dovecot crashes. I mostly see them in the logs, I haven't had any users complain, so I haven't looked closely until now. I was originally using an older version fro mDebian and hoped that a newer future version would already fix this, but I just upgraded to version 1:2.2.32-2 from

imap segfaults when using antispam plugin, and moving mail to an 'unsure' folder.
I put up a question on serverfault first, which has the details, including a stack trace: http://serverfault.com/questions/713687/dovecot-antispam-error-storing-mail . Details also copied below. Is this a known bug? If I built dovecot from source rather than using the Ubuntu 14.04 packages, would I expect that to help? Are there any configuration details that might be relevant? (dovecot -n

Setting up Xemacs + Sweave
Dear list, I have tried to setup my Xemacs for use with Sweave, which I indend to learn. I have followed the instructions in the Sweave FAQ, that is to say, I put (defun Rnw-mode () (require 'ess-noweb) (noweb-mode) (if (fboundp 'R-mode) (setq noweb-default-code-mode 'R-mode))) (add-to-list 'auto-mode-alist '("\\.Rnw\\'" . preserving sparse matrices (Matrix)
Hi, I have sparse (tridiagonal) matrices, and I use the Matrix package for handling them. For certain computations, I need to either set the first row to zero, or double the last row. I find that neither operation preserves sparsity, eg > m <- Diagonal(5) > m 5 x 5 diagonal matrix of class "ddiMatrix" [,1] [,2] [,3] [,4] [,5] [1,] 1 . . . . [2,] . 1

Testing for whole numbers
Is there a way in R to test if a given number is an integer, ie a whole number? I am not referring to the data type of a number, but to its value. That is to say, is.whole(pi-pi+2) would be TRUE, whereas is.whole(4/3) would be false. At the moment I am using is.whole <- function(a) { floor(a)==a } which is OK for real numbers, but not for complex ones (a+bi would be a whole number if both a
