bug report: dovecot-imapd core dump
Hi, Since I did not get any specific suggestions about this bug, I am attaching another backtrace. Any suggestions for workarounds etc would be appreciated -- should I regenerate the index? Or install a dovecot from the repo where this might be fixed? Is this a known bug? Best, Tamas -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Name: dovecot-gdb Type:

2.2.12: Panic: file mail-index.c: line 380 (mail_index_keywords_unref): assertion failed: (keywords->refcount > 0)
I upgraded 2.1 -> 2.2 something like a week ago because I needed INDEXPVT. Not sure if this crash started immediately or not, noticed it today looking at journalctl. Backtrace http://bpaste.net/raw/181944/ and pasted below. This seems to crash on every IMAP connection made, so any ideas for a possible client-level workaround are quite welcome until dovecot code improves here. root at

[LLVMdev] Origin of DEBUG and EH label values
Where do DEBUG and EH label values originate from ? Where's their allocator ? I am looking at some code in X86CodeEmitter.cpp line 574, where a labels value is extraced from an operand. But dont know where to look in the frontend or middle end to find the LabelID allocator. If some kind person could point me in the right direction. Many thanks in advance, Aaron -------------- next part

corrupt/invalid wav
I posted the bug at http://sourceforge.net/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=130992&group_id=13478 . Since all my other discs were encoding fine I thought that the wav file may be corrupt/invalid/or something. I opened them with cool edit and "saved as"ed them to my drive. These files encoded fine and the extraced/converted files have the correct md5sum. Is there a program that can

Searching multiple related models
Hi, I''m interested in some feedback about a solution for searching multiple related models by columns (as opposed to full-text). A brief example would be three models with typical has_many relations: Hotel (name, company) Room (number, type) Bed (type, age) I have a search form that lists the fields for each model with a text input. Upon submission the search needs to find the results

usb issue on my motherboard
I have found this http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10913 I am running that motherboard with 2.6.18-128.1.10 x86_64 and I have the USB issues. I dont really want to use a later kernel for a couple reasons one being the ATI Catalyst drivers dont work on later kernels (I tried on another machine). Is there a way to take 2.6.30 (just since its the current version)usb/host directory and

corrupt/invalid wav
I am pretty sure it's a flac bug, not a problem with your wav. the -p option is causing the problem. -p drastically increases the runtime and only improves the compression by a tiny bit, which is why it is only turned on in -9. until the bug is fixed it is safer to not use -p (but -V will catch any errors -p causes). --- Kevin Pullin <kpullin@socal.rr.com> wrote: > I posted the bug

Dovecot 2.1.9 shared folder deletion causes fault
Hey all, I'm getting a fault in dovecot (see below) using shared folders. I have a mailbox that receives new mail (Account X/INBOX). Another account (Account A) has access to the other account (Account X/INBOX) with ACL below. The ACL directory (.DEFAULT) contains: user=AccountA lrwst I removed a test email from Account A/INBOX, which is supposed to remove the email from Account X/INBOX. A

Dovecot LDA, virtual users, multiple uids: No luck
Hi, I'm trying to get Dovecot's deliver to create and use mailboxen with one uid per user. Reading the wiki, I decided to go with the sudo attempt, but I'm stuck because deliver fails to create the intermediate directories. The auth.log has this on the matter: sudo: dovelda : TTY=unknown ; PWD=/var/spool/postfix ; USER=root ; COMMAND=/usr/lib/dovecot/deliver -f toni at

Problem with --times and setgid dir when user not member of the group
When copying locally as well as remotely inside a setgid dir, the option --times has the unwanted side effect of making the newly created directories not have the setgid bit set, but only when the user running rsync is not a member of the corresponding group. The extra option --omit-dir-times prevents the loss of the setgid bit in this case. Is this a bug as I think it is? Note that files

Moving mails from shared folder to shared folder doesn't work
Hi, having the attached configuration with Dovecot 2.2.9, Dovecot's crashing when moving a mail from a shared folder into another shared folder. Moving that mail into a "real" folder of the user or moving that mail from a real folder into the shared folder is always working. But moving from a shared folder into a shared folder doesn't work. samba-tool max-pwd-age error
Hai, Well, i think you found a bug here, i get exact the same. But i found a workaround ;-) We need to verify it. Can someone test this on a source build also for this. Try this for the error. samba-tool domain passwordsettings show samba-tool domain passwordsettings set --max-pwd-age=90 That errors. And if you try this and set Min + Max age, then it works: kinit Administrator
