ssl_key_password loaded from file: 'Couldn't parse private ssl_key'
Hello,
Thanks for your answer.
I read this Wiki tip, but it does not fit, as I serve emails for several
domains, each using its iwn (potentioally enciphered) private key.
I thus need to use the directive as port of a local_name block.
I tried to create 2 blocks in 2 different files automatically loaded from
conf.d:
### private.conf ### <-- prevented read permission for other than root:root

password protected ssl key seems unsupported after update to 2.3.4.1
Hi,
On a debian server after an update to dovecot to 2.3.4.1 imaps mail client stop working.
I?ve applied necessary migration for ssl_dh (cf https://wiki.dovecot.org/Upgrading/2.3 <https://wiki.dovecot.org/Upgrading/2.3> ) but that was not enough. The workaround I?ve setup was to remove password protection from the ssl_key file. All tests with ssl_key_password parameter failled (direct

Dovecot 2.3 no longer accepts ssl_key_password
Hit a little problem when I upgraded a system from FreeBSD 10.3 to 11.2. I did not receive any errors in the upgrade. The system is running 4 jails and everything seems to work except in Dovecot dovecot-2.3.4_5 where when using the exact same configuration which worked in 10.3 with the same password protected certificate key. (doveconf -n -P shows the correct password.)

Blowfish issues with somewhat big files

I've encrypted some database dumps with

The weird thing is if I do the same with smaller files it can decrypt
with no problem. I use openssl-0.9.8e-12.el5 on Centos 5.4.
Please could you tell me what I am doing wrong?

tls not working with postfix in chroot mode on centos4.0
hey friends,
I am trying to make postfix run with tls in chroot mode, but I am not
able to send the messages with tls on. I am using postfix 2.2.10 on
centos 4.0 and I had compiled the postfix from sources with tls &
cyrus-sasl support. I copied the certificates from /usr/share/ssl to
/etc/postfix.
Below are the errors I am getting:

Windows admins "upgraded" network so Samba is no longer working ...
I'm a long time user of Unix OSes, and new to Linux/Samba administration.
The Window's administrators have changed all logins to domain based and as
such, my previous configuraiton of Samba no longer is viisible in the
network neighbourhood. (If I log into my machine locally, everything works
great with teh Samba server but nothing on the windows side is conveniant).

[OT]: Passing password for a command on the fly
Hi,
First things first, sorry for the off-topic, but I've already burned
my eyes Googling and couldn't find the answer to what I need and I
remembered asking here, because I'm a long time CentOS and its mailing
list user.
Again, my apologies.
I have this command to create an FTP account:

I'm trying to have quotas working with roundcube.
When I'm logged into roundcube I see 0% quota which seems to correspond to disabled.
However I did everything that I could to enable quotas

Strict Mode for Client?
Is there a way to specify "strict modes = false" on the client side?
I'm having trouble getting the client to accept the password file on Windows
2000, since rsync doesn't want the file to be other-readable, but this
concept doesn't map too well to Windows.
Alternatively, if I could simply set the proper permissions on the passfile,
that would suit me fine, but it seems
