Disable maildir indexing and dovecot-uidlist on LMTP/LDA delivery
Hello all, Is there a way to use LMTP (or LDA) so that maildir index and dovecot-uidlist are not updated? My setup is such that mail delivery sees user's maildir as write only. This setup works well when using postfix for mail delivery, but when I try to switch to dovecot LMTP the lmtp process wants to read the dovecot-uidlist and fails on insufficient privileges. Is there a way around this

Checkpassword interface for custom password check and home mounting
Hi, I'm trying to use the checkpassword interface to do a password check and if the check succeeds I mount the user home directory (including mail) using the users login password and uid. My password check seems to work, but when I add the home directory mounting things seem to stop. Dovecot never logs the result of the password check and nothing happens until the client gets bored and tries

post-logout scripting
Hi all, I found this (http://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2010-January/045717.html) describing how to do a post-logout script. But is this valid anymore? It seems I'm getting error when trying to execute imap process in post-logout script and post logout documentation does not talk about executing imap. I'm trying to umount (virtual) user home directory when user logs out. Thanks,

Capability info in hello message not complete?
Hi, one Fedora user complains about not some troubles after update to dovecot 1.2. He suspects wrong capability information given by dovecot 1.2 In dovecot.conf he uses imap_capability= option. While response to 'A CAPABILITY' respects imap_capability value, the capability info in hello message does not. for imap_capability=IMAP4 IMAP4rev1 ACL NAMESPACE CHILDREN SORT QUOTA

Saving Drafts with Roundcube marks old Mails in INBOX as unread.
Hello List, I have a problem with the client Roundcube. Whenever I save a draft to the Folder INBOX.Drafts a old mail in my INBOX will be marked as unread. Here are the IMAP Logs from Roundcube and Dovecot debug logs. I have no idea why it happens. The IMAP protocol looks normal to me but as you can see in the second to last line in the Dovecot log Dovecot is changing the flag of an old E-Mail

[PATCH v3 0/9] fbdev: Clean up include dependencies in header
Remove unnecessary dependencies in the include statements of the header file <linux/fb.h>. Several files throughout the kernel include the fbdev header, so reducing dependencies positively affects other subsystems as well. Also fix up corgi-lcd, nouveau and fbtft, which need backlight.h in some of their source files. v3: * include backlight.h in corgi-lcd (kernel test robot) * grammar

[PATCH v2 0/9] drm/print: add and use drm_debug_enabled()
Hi all, v2 of [1], a little refactoring around drm_debug access to abstract it better. There shouldn't be any functional changes. I'd appreciate acks for merging the lot via drm-misc. If there are any objections to that, we'll need to postpone the last patch until everything has been merged and converted in drm-next. BR, Jani. Cc: Eric Engestrom <eric.engestrom at intel.com>

[PATCH 1/3] drm/nouveau: include drm/drm_edid.h only where needed
Including drm_edid.h from nouveau_connector.h causes the rebuild of 15 files when drm_edid.h is modified, while there are only a few files that actually need to include drm_edid.h. about Update Road and no IDLE in CAPABILITY
Hi list, I'm in the path of moving from courier-imap to dovecot and testing it since 1.2-rc3. So far it is very promising. Thank you for your amazing work. So my first question is: what is the recommended update road ? For now, I first "managesieve patch"/compile the source, go on to the old source folder and do a "make uninstall", switch back to the new source folder
