IMAP Folder Mail Separator
Hi, I have a fedora21 install with dovecot-2.2.18, and when creating a new subfolder with thunderbird, the actual folder name is "Folder1^Folder2" with a carat as a separator, instead of creating Folder2 in the Folder1 directory. Is this a thunderbird problem? I don't recall having this problem prior to upgrading to fedora21, so thought maybe it's a dovecot problem. Maybe the

Creating IMAP folders/subfolders with Thunderbird
Hi, I have dovecot-2.2.15 on fedora21 with Thunderbird and having some difficulty creating subfolders and deleting folders. Creating subfolders results in a folder at the root with a caret instead of a slash called folder^subfolder with an entry in .subscriptions with that name, instead of a new folder under the directory. I'm also unable to delete any folders. The command from within

Centos DVD -
I have been trying to run Centos 6 and 7 in virtualbox on this Fedora23 computer. Actually I also tried Scientific Linux and a DVD copy of Fedora 21 XFCE Live that I had on hand. The Fedora21 works as expected but I seem to be missing something in Centos and Scientific Linux. They boot and run with a text screen but startx reports "command not found" and a ping to other than

I am using the dovecot local delivery agent. ---------first the dovecot configuration and version information------------------ dovecot -n output: # /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf log_timestamp: %Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S protocols: pop3 pop3s

Limit IMAP/IMAPS listening IPs
Hello list. I am running dovecot v2.2.13 on debian 8.8; I tried to add a "address =" statement for only localhost and one private IP, but then I got a complaint from system: dovecot[20515]: Error: systemd listens on port 143, but it's not configured in Dovecot. Closing. What is the proper way to resolve this? TIA & Regards, Dudi

Slow network performance issues
Hi, I have a fedora21 system that's been running fine under normal network activity, but trying to perform a full backup of the 300GB filesystem is taking forever because the network speed appears to be very slow. Using rsync, the transfer speeds reach a max of like 180kB/s. Using rsync to copy files on the local filesystem is greater than 55MB/s, so I don't think it's a disk

Is there any way I can deploy cPanel web hosting control panel with Microsoft Exchange 2016 groupware behind one static public IP?
Good evening from Singapore, Is there any way I can deploy cPanel web hosting control panel with Microsoft Exchange 2016 groupware behind one static public IP? Or do I need 2 static public IP addresses at the minimum? With Exchange 2016 groupware taking up HTTP, HTTPS, IMAP, IMAPS, POP3, POP3S, SMTP, and SMTP/S ports, I personally don't think I can deploy cPanel behind the same public IP as

controlling STARTTLS by IP address
On my POP3 server, I need to be able to control the use of STARTTLS by client IP address. Specifically: * Clients on certain internal subnets (e.g., 192.168.1.0/24) must not have the option to use TLS. If the client tries to use STARTTLS, the option should be rejected. This is to satisfy US FCC rules regarding the use of encryption over certain radio frequencies. * All other internal clients
