OT - SPA3102 - Provisioning with config file
Hello, I could successfully played with General Purpose Parameters (GPP_A, GPP_B) and a TFTP server : whenever I change a GPP value in a configuration file, my SPA3102 automatically updates the corresponding value its web server shows. My config file is : <flat-profile> <GPP_A>myid </GPP_A> <UID1>myid </UID1> </flat-profile> I though I could use this

Desynced DC [SOLVED]
Hi again, The --local option did the trick. But I can see why samba-tool drs replicate desynced-dc.my.domain sane-dc.my-domain dc=ad,dc=my,dc=domain fails while samba-tool drs replicate desynced-dc.my.domain sane-dc.my-domain dc=ad,dc=my,dc=domain --local works like a charm (desynced-dc.ad.finsecur.lan resolves correctly) Anyway, sync seem to be up & running again, thank you very much Le

Have you tried to replicate with the --sync-forced and --full-sync options? Am 24.02.2016 um 14:31 schrieb Sébastien Le Ray: > Hi list, > > We use samba 4.1.17 (debian's version) on several DCs. Desynced DC
I'd try to rejoin the faulty DC instead of copying sam.ldb files. I guess there are unique DC specific entries in the local database. Can be samba-tool replicate works if you try the push the settings from an other dc or pull em on the faulty dc. What command did you try andn on what dc? /etc/group issue
Good morning... I ran into a problem yesterday and I am wondering about the way samba (2.2.8) reads the /etc/group file. I have a group that has 2000+ users in it, so the group is defined with multiple entry lines for the same group: Groupa::1000:id1:id2:... Groupa::1000:id100:id101:... I have noticed that a user is in the 1st line of the group definition (ie: id1), he can get access to the

Desynced DC
Hi list, We use samba 4.1.17 (debian's version) on several DCs. I just realized that one of them is desynced and cannot get it to resync. The long story: we got 5 DCs splitted over several sites. Recently we had to replace one of them (let's call him DC5). Since both had to run in parallel for data recovery/users work we decided to join a brand new DC (DC6) and latter demote the

Both lines in an ATA using the same UID/PASS
I have an ATA186, a tech just told me to set UID0 and UID1 to the same username, and PASS0 and PASS1 to the same password. In my mind, this would seem to have the unit registering twice under the same account, which Asterisk wouldn't support. When a call comes in, it should go to the last line to register. So to me, this means the call could sometimes come in on Line 1 and sometimes on Line

I submitted this as a bug here: http://rubyforge.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=18799&group_id=4187&atid=16130 However, I just realized that I probably should have posted here first. Has anyone else had a similar experiance with queries that don''t return results? I have the following FQL Query: "SELECT uid FROM user WHERE has_added_app = 1 AND uid IN (SELECT

Device not found--newhidups, FreeBSD 4.10, CyperPower 685AVR
I've been using nut with a serial device for a while, but today I tried hooking up this new CyberPower 685 unit via newhidups--since it seemed better supported over USB than serial, based on reading the list archives and cvs logs. Unfortunately, I can't connect to it. My system sees the device: uhid1: CPS UPS BF700, rev 1.10/0.01, addr 2, iclass 3/0 ... and I have chmodded all

Hi Mogens, I'll try more during the week-end but I am sorry all this is not very clear to me (not your fault). And I cannot reply directly to the news group, I have to go to the crappy netscape mail thing to send this... Anyway, see below.
