Quota, message is never send?
I think i have quota setup correctly, but finally time arrived to check
that ;)
opensuse:/etc/dovecot # doveadm quota get -u luuk
Quota name Type Value Limit %
User quota STORAGE 571973 716800 79
User quota MESSAGE 45555 - 0
It seems i am at 79% of my quota
so, i added a line to conf.d/90-quota.conf, to get a wraning when quota
exceeds 10%:

BUG - DELETE Public/Folder not working with Thunderbird
Hi Anton,
Thank you very much for your helpful hint. Thunderbird clearly wants to
move Public/Test to the Trash of the user who subscribed the Public
folder. Question is how to solve this from a Dovecot point of a view, so
a user can also delete folders?
2020200448[10053c700]: proposed url = Public/Test folder for connection
INBOX has To Wait = FALSE can run = FALSE

Warning recipient when message delivery fails due to over-quota
I'm working to configure automated quota notifications in Dovecot and am
wondering if it is possible to send a warning message to a user when
message delivery fails because the user is over-quota.
I already have the following directives configured:
quota_warning = storage=95%% quota-warning 95 %u %d
quota_warning2 = storage=80%% quota-warning 80 %u %d
quota_warning3 = -storage=100%%

Sieve filtering SPAM and redirect
Hi every body. I'm having difficulties to setup my filters correctly
and I really need some help.
This is my environment:
Mail that is received on the system passes through a sieve_before
script that checks the message header for SPAM tag and store it into
the "Junk" folder. If no spam tag is found, mail goes to inbox.
My horde webmail is integrated with sieve, so this allow

Problem with wine and Firefox, Thunderbird or Seamonkey...
Hi all,
I Use thunderbird and firefox, and sometimes Seamonkey on my job (onto windows 7, 64 bits) and at home (under Ubuntu 11.10 64 bits), so for that, I use Wine, which was very nice until few weeks when I had error message and that doesn't worked more...
For this use, I use portable software (from portable apps), and I already post my problem on other forums

dovecot quota-warning detection mail
Hi, all.
we use quota-warning emails to notify you of quotas.
In rare cases, the email address has changed to the logged-in user.
(Because the address of %u is passed as the logged-in user.)
So I couldn?t send the email with ?Recipient address rejected: User
unknown in local recipient table?.
Why does my email address change to a logged-in user?

Dovecot-alpha1 and Thunderbird Sent problems
I have dovecot 1.0alpha1 setup in a semi test environment running on
Solaris 2.6.
When using Thunderbird 1.0.6 from Windows occasionally the client will
hang after sending a message and before copying it to the Sent folder on
dovecot. Sendmail logs indicate that the message has been sent
correctly.
The mail directory is not shared over NFS. It is in maildir format.

quota warning
Hi,
Is there a way with dovecot to warn users who are close to reach their
quota?
Although I never used it, I think cyrus supports something like that by
droping a warning message into the INBOX when delivering a message that
brings the total size over a certain percentage.
Would it be feasible to implement something like that with an extra
plugin or by changing the quota plugin?
Cheers,

Keywords & sync
We're using keywords within Thunderbird, and we're syncing those using
IMAP. When using more than 5 keywords, we're envcountering problems -
they're only partially being synced (between two clients, but not all
clients).
Any idea why this could be happening?
The introduction of tagging in Thunderbird is described here:
