How can I get rid of that ?

stat failed: Not a directory
I have recently installed dovecot on a FreeBSD mailserver running postfix.
But when I try to login with imap/pop3, I always get an error "stat failed:
Not a directory".
I guess it is something wrong with the mail format postfix uses to store the
message, but I don't seem to find the correct solution.
Here's the postfix log with the successful delivery:

diskspace and diskinodes tag for openvz
Hi!
as far as I understood from "xml format for openvz driver" thread
available at [1] it should be possible to specify via libvirt disk size
and disk inodes for openvz VM.But the following device section in VM xml
description doesn't set disksize and diskinodes properly (it looks like
those parameters are taken from default OpenVZ config and not as they
are specified in

AW: diskspace; was: When will quality increase be unnoti cable?
Yes, you can: whenever you are unable to make a decent backup at least once
a week, your diskspace must be considered to big.

XCP - Reclaim diskspace from snapshots on xcp 1.0
Hi list,
Saw that there''s a patch for xenserver 5.6fp1 which should fix this:
http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX129267
Anybody know if/when this will happen on XCP?
I have the same problem - disk usage remains the same after snapshot
deletion - this is in the log on the pool master:

strange diskspace consuming
Hi,
I do a tgz-backup some maildir-folders with n*1000 off files and a lot
of GB in storage. The backuped maildirs are removed after the tar.
My assumption was, that the free diskspace should be bigger after that,
but from what I get with df, it looks like I'm loosing space.
Currently the tgz is saved on the same disk/mountpoint.
Any hint, why removing the maildirs dont free diskspace as

adding SAN "diskspace" to CentOS system residing on VMware
Hey, group,
I've got a system installed on a VMware VM. The SAN administrator
allocated me more disk space from the (EMC) SAN and I need ultimately to
create another partition to mount on the filesystem. Two (initial)
questions about this:
What steps do I need to take prior to creating a new partition with
fdisk? (The SAN space, BTW, is connected through VMware.)
The OS is already

virt-df: ext2/3/4 statvfs(2) output changed between two recent Linux kernels (3.2.0)
[Jim, as coreutils developer, this might interest you]
In libguestfs we run some quite detailed checks of the output of the
statvfs system call for our tool "virt-df". I noticed that the output
of virt-df changed slightly.
Narrowing it down, the difference only happens between:
Fedora kernel 3.2.0-0.rc0.git4.1.fc17 (3rd Nov)
Fedora kernel 3.2.0-0.rc1.git2.1.fc17 (11th Nov)

Plymouth "Failed to read image"
I'm trying to learn more about Plymouth, but am having trouble finding
sufficient documentation on it.
After a rebuild of Plymouth with a few theme changes, I am getting an
error message on boot "Failed to read image" and then it gives me the
grub screen to boot one of the three kernels installed.
Boot works fine and I actually see the proper splash once I select a
kernel.

Joint significance of more regressors in summary
Dear All,
I was wondering if it is possible to generate a regression summary (it does
not matter at this stage if from an lm or for example a glm estimate) in
which to obtain the joint significance of a set of regressors?
Examples could be looking at the joint significance level of a polynomial,
or of a set of exogenous variables of which is of interest the linear
combination suggested by the

Specification Reuse to avoid Combinatorial Explosions
Hello,
While reading Dan North''s BDD tutorial <http://dannorth.net/introducing-bdd>,
I tried to implement his ATM example as spec stubs.
When I first implemented it creating a context for each of his scenarios, I
noticed that there is duplication and a combinatorial explosion of the
specs.
I attached the full files to this email. For brevity, I will use scenario 1
