2.2.x autobuilds: Debian Stable now Wheezy, which pool for 2.2.x?
List, good evening, just installed a new Debian Stable (Wheezy). The
Debian Stable repositories now include Dovecot 2.1.7 as standard. I
haven't installed that because I wanted to try 2.2.x on this new clean
install but unsure which 'pool' to use in the xi.rename-it.nl
repository of autobuilds.

Xi has a new home
Hi,
The automatic package builder Xi has moved to system within the Dovecot
infrastructure. This also means that the repositories are available at a
new host name: xi.dovecot.fi. The old host name still works and is a
CNAME pointing to the new venue. I expect the old domain to be active
for years to come. So, there is no need to update your
/etc/apt/sources.list right away. Still, it is a

Xi is broken at the moment. This XenServer version won't boot jessie

Can't fix this myself, so this may take some time.

Since we could not upgrade XenServer any time soon, we reverted the
build systems back to Debian wheezy (oldstable) by re-installing them
from scratch. It should all work as normal, with

Automatic Debian repository (Xi) updated
Hi,
Now that we have a new Dovecot v2.3 release, I've created a new Xi
builder that follows the git master branch to automatically produce
Debian packages for the future Dovecot v2.4. The existing v2.3
repository now follows the master-2.3 branch, meaning that this will
only follow developments/fixes ported to the v2.3 stable release series.
This was already true for the v2.2 oldstable

Thanks for fixing this. As this repo stuff is mostly bleeding edge, I noticed that the systemd service file needs to be modified to allow coredumps. Not sure how it is supposed to interact with the file /etc/default/dovecot and its ALLOW_COREDUMPS=1 variable, but one

Actually, there are packages there that have the 2.2.27 release in
there, but they are not marked as such. Ever since the git move I
haven't finished fixing the automatic version updates. It is still

Archive key for the Dovecot Automatic Debian Package Archive (Xi) updated
Hi,
I've updated the archive key for the Xi archive. So, when updating, you
will initially get a key error.
To fix this, either upgrade the debian-dovecot-auto-keyring package
(preferred), or update your key manually from the archive.key located in
the repository root.
Regards,
Stephan.

Issue with Dovecot v2.0 auto packages
Hi,
Yesterday night I upgraded the automated packages built at Xi to the
latest experimental Debian packages for v2.0. This unfortunately causes
a problem upon upgrade. I've contacted the maintainer, so this issue
should resolve itself soon.
The issue manifests as follows:
Setting up dovecot-imapd (2:2.0.11-0~auto+25) ...
