deliver to subfolder with dovecot's LDA
Hi all...
How can deliver messages to a subfolder using the LDA?
For example, I want a message to joe+spam at abc.com to be placed inside
the 'spam' subfolder.
Any hint is appreciated.
Thanks ;)

Lazy_expunge issue...
Hello everybody,
I have a question about lazy_expunge plugin.
I set up Dovecot with lazy_expunge plugin on a Debian Wheezy machine; I
setup also a global acl to keep .expunged namespace readonly for all
users. Imap client is Horde Webmail Edition 5.2.3
When I try to delete folders containing subfolders, lazy_expunge copies
into expunged private namespace only the upper level folder. The

problems with public (sub)folders
Hi,
i am trying to share a maildir++ mailbox to other users but i can only subscribe to the root directory. The subfolders of the public mailbox do not appear in the exported list.
Does anyone has an idea how i can share the subfolders too without creating symlinks for every single folder?
Best,
Frederik

Dovecot LDA / Deliver question
Problem described:
I am trying to get Postfix + Dovecot + MySQL setup to work together in a
virtual mail hosting platform. I am running Postfix 2.3.x, and MySQL 5.0.x.
I am trying to use Dovecot's LDA for delivery to the users vmail home
directory -- usually under /var/vmail/domain.com/j/jdoe for home and
/var/vmail/domain.com/j/jdoe/.maildir for mail location, using MAILDIR
format.

Weird sub-folder error
Hi,
I?m running dovecot 2.2.13 and I ran into a weird problem.
A user migrated his mailboxes by letting users copy them from their old server to the new one through their MUA. All that went fine except for one very weird instance. The user is running Outlook 2010.
The user has a sub-folder structure which dovecot places as dotted names beneath the Inbox. (E.g. Maildir/.my.sub.folders).

sdbox-format and sa-learn(spamassassin)
Hello,
is it somehow possible to use sa-learn on sdbox-mailboxes?
Maybe i can use dsync to "mirror" the mailboxes(only the spam-subfolder)
to another
location and convert it to mbox or maildir and act then on it with sa-learn?
I know the antispam-Plugin, but until now no success, to get it running.
So I think about
an way, to learn via sa-learn on an file which i can process.

Dovecot deliver LDA problem
Hello folks,
I was trying to set up Dovecot deliver LDA instead of Postfix default
virtual LDA
In Postfix main.cf I specified:
virtual_transport = dovecot
dovecot_destination_recipient_limit = 1
In Postfix master.cf I entered:
dovecot unix - n n - - pipe
user=mailer flags=DRhu
argv=/usr/local/mail/libexec/dovecot/deliver -f ${sender} -d ${recipient}
In

Dovecor 1.2 : Command output: Fatal: Unknown argument: flags=DRhu Usage: deliver [-c <config file>] [-a <address>] [-d <username>] [-p <path>] [-f <envelope sender>] [-m <mailbox>] [-n] [-s] [-e] [-k] )
Hi there,
I changed postfix to pass email to spamassassin, and then deliver to
dovecot LDA. It fails to deliver.
The current entry in master.cf now reads:
dovecot unix - n n - - pipe
flags=DRhu user=vmail:vmail argv=/usr/lib/dovecot/deliver -d
${recipient}
smtp inet n - - - - smtpd
-o content_filter=spamassassin

Unable to get Dovecot LDA/deliver working
I want to setup Dovecot LDA, but I don't understand what I'm doing anymore.
I have to note that I'm a Linux beginner. I've been trying now for several
months and I'm about to give up. Till so far I'm having no result. :-(
My current setup is done as described at http://www.linuxmail.info. We use
Postfix 2.3.3 (with Postgrey, Spamassassin and ClamAV), Dovecot 1.2.11 and

require ["fileinto", "variables", "?destfolder?" ];
if anyof ( destfolder :matches "*") {

}else{

LDA postfix + deliver, problem lookup, accepting email for everyone
Hi,
I'm setting up dovecot pop3 deamon for a small set of mailbox.
I want to be able to set a small set of mailbox simply, so I've used
"passdb passwd-file" + virtual mailboxes with "userdb static".
My problem is that it seems that postfix accept and create mailbox for
every address I post. It is configured to use local delivery through
dovecot's deliver.
