Outlook 2013 not fetching new mail/synchronization issues
There is also an antivirus running on client with antispam module. I will
try to disable it and see
if there is any change.

Outlook 2013 not fetching new mail/synchronization issues
Hi all,
Robert, Jerry,
There were new emails overnight and both Thunderbird and Roundcube displayed
them.
I enabled Outlook debug mode and please find 2 logs of Send/Receive with no
new emails.
Scroll below to see 3rd log with "workaround" and mails downloaded.

TLS/SSL for Win8 & Outlook
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hello
I recently upgraded to dovecot 2.1.7 (as supplied with Debian Weezy).
All clients work as expected except for Outlook (2013 &2010) on Win8
with a SSL/TLS connection. (Thunderbird on Win8 and Outlook 2013 on
Win 7 works fine. On my previous dovecot version 1.2.13 all clients
worked.)
As far as I understand, one difference is the support for

Outlook 2013 not fetching new mail/synchronization issues
Hi all,
Dovecot 2.2.10 CentOS 6 64 bit.
We are having terrible synchronization issues with Outlook 2013 (all
updates) on Windows 7 SP1 and 8.1 hosts (all updates).
Scenario:
1. Emails were sent since user closed Outlook
2. Next day: start computer, open outlook
3. No new email (even though email were sent overnight)
4. half a day later Outlook fetches

Odd. Safari has no problem and says certificate expires August 16 2020, but I also see the download.file issue with 4.0.1 beta:

You never posted which certificate has expired. Your dashboard shows
they're all valid, but the download still fails, presumably because
something not shown has expired.

It's the top of chain CA cert, so browsers are being lazy and helpful
to humans by (incorrectly, albeit) relying on the existing trust
relationship.
libcurl (et al) is not nearly as forgiving.

I've updated the dashboard (https://rud.is/r-project-cert-status/)
script and my notifier script to account for the entire chain in each
cert.

993 is IMAP-over-SSL, which is probably not named "TLS", but "SSL" in
Outlook.

Problem with intermediate certificate (tls cafile)
If I were guessing, based on some experience with certificate usage in
other apps, concatenate your certificate and intermediate certificates
into a single file which is then your "tls certfile" then point "tls
cafile" to your issuers proper CA or just to your distro's CA bundle,
e.g /etc/pki/tls/certs/ca-bundle.crt.

Problem with intermediate certificate (tls cafile)
I have several samba servers on Debian 10 all using :
samba 2:4.9.5+dfsg-5+deb10u1 amd64
I use tls cafile, tls certfile and tls keyfile with certificates from
Sectigo (https://cert-manager.com)
And when checking my connexion from the samba server, or from outside,
I've got "unable to verify the first certificate" even if tls_cafile is
provided in smb.conf.

Stymied with samba vs openldap SSL ("Failed to issue the StartTLS instruction...")
I know this is something which should have a simple fix but I'm failing
to see it somehow.
I'm moving samba service between a couple of FreeBSD systems (9.3 to
10.2), and I'm stuck on getting samba on the new machine to connect to
our openldap server over ssl - frustrating since I've been running
samba+ldap for 15 years or so; feel sure I'm missing something basic!

flac worse than shorten
I've found a wav of an entire album that shorten compresses better than
flac. Is this supposed to be possible?
wav 388,374,044
flac-6 239,109,203
shn 236,457,697
Cheers.

The latest version of my cue+wav splitter supports .flac files. Hope to
get it released this weekend. Will eventually be at:
www.lameb.fsnet.co.uk
It also supports .shn and .ape. I've seen shorten
