Dovecot sieve pigeonhole permission
Hello, I'm running dovecot in a classical vmail.vmail setup with pigeonhole and LMTP. Permission worked well in the initial setup but currently (maybe after Fedora 22 update) I'm having the following permission issue: lmtp(root): Error: 7fPZFOL9wFXePQAABcdabc: sieve: binary open: failed to open: open(/etc/dovecot/sieve_after.svbin) failed: Permission denied (euid=9999(vmail)

Local lmtp proxy on backend server
Hi Aki, you have some ingenious remark that could help? -----Original Message----- To: aki.tuomi; dovecot Subject: RE: Local lmtp proxy on backend server I am staring constantly at the same logs, this is what I get from dovecot[1]. Sendmail[2] is sending with test at svr1 maybe this overrides lmtp proxying? This is a test with a special-userdb passwd-file also having host=svr2 [1] Dec

imapsieve: script not triggered
Hi, folks! My problem: I set up dovecot with imapsieve to execute a script whenever a user copies a mail to his Spam folder (spam autolearning). Unfortunately this script is never executed regardless what I?m configuring for imapsieve. It looks like dovecot doesn?t really load the plugin? The "dovecot -n" output is attached. I already tried setting imapsieve_mailbox1_name to *, but

Postfix Ignoring lmtp, delivering straight to maildir
First I'd like to thank all the developers and contributors to dovecot. I've been using it for many years, and deeply appreciate your fine work. :) dovecot --version 2.2.22 (fe789d2) I have a working installation with postfix and dovecot, and I want to add sieve to it, so I am trying to configure postfix to use lmtp instead of 'virtual' for its delivery service. However it is

Handle of "subscription" file/folder for IMAP
Hi, Ok you're right about it, let me simplify it. There's some files in the Maildir, that are from dovecot, like the dovecot.sieve, subscriptions, and these are files, but here are shown an being folders to be subcribed. Question was if it is possible to deny the show of this info in IMAP globally. If I subscribe, for example to "subscriptions", it created the folder,

Correcting Mail Home, Maildir and Sieve folder locations
I have Dovecot 2.3.7.2 on Ubuntu 20.04. I just migrated the server from CentOS 8, and only migrated to the CentOS 8 machine a few months ago off of CentOS 7. I am pasting `doveconf -n` at the bottom of this email. Everything is working. However, I'm trying to clean up warnings in the logs, and just discovered that I'm not managing home directories properly.
