Outlook Calendar Connector Question
I would seriously doubt it, as dovecot doesn't do calendar's. Quoting Jake Johnson <jakej1978 at gmail.com>: > Is there a freeware or opensource calendar connector that will work with > Dovecot? > > Any suggestions would be appreciated. > > Thanks.

Bynari Insight connector
Hi, Since IMAP support in Outlook is 'somewhat broken', and Bynari has some promising specifications on their website, I might want to try their product. Does anyone here have any experience with their software? Would you recommend it? Or maybe point me at alternatives? (If there are any.. aside from ditching Outlook of course :-P ) Regards, Maarten Bezemer

Trying to populate dovecot with outlook contacts
Hello, What the subject says. I am trying, that is. OK, here's the story. Users very lazy. Don't want to write down their contact details from scratch. Here's what I thought : migrate (export?) contacts from outlook to mozilla thunderbird. Then find a way to make thunderbird "talk" to dovecot, so that the latter can import the contact details from mozilla tb. Any ideas ?

accessing outlook pst files w/ samba
Hi, I'm in the process of trying to convince my organization to move from an exchange server, to a samba solution, while retaining their original windows environments, including Outlook clients. I thought I had all my issues covered, and suddenly I'm facing a show stopper. it turns out that a lot of my users "documentation" has been stored on "public folders" on the

syncml with server push email
Any recommendations for server push email using syncml and dovecot? I am familiar with Funambol for syncing pim info, but not used it for email. Are there any recommended opensource or commercial syncml servers that are known to integrate nicely with Dovecot 1.x? Googling hasn't really turned up much in the way of useful info. To mix it up a little, I was using Funambol for the Pim

Calendar and address book with Dovecot
Hi all I recently install Postfix and Dovecot, and so far so good. My assumption was that calendar and address book (similar to Gmail calendar or address book) are part of Dovecot. However I do not see anything concerning them in any of the docs I have read so far. What other software (ideally open source, free) do I need in other to have Calendar and address book so my users can manage their

Samba PDC & Exchange 2000 Server
I presently have a 2 server system a Sambe PDC and a mail server running Bynari Insight Server and we use Bynari connector to connect our Outlook 2000 clients to the Insight Server. It works well enough. BUT.... Bynari are stopping support for Outlook 2000. For us the upgrade all our copies of Outlook is expensive and we have all the functionality we need. So, we have MS Server 2000 and Exchange

dovecot as exchange server?
Hi, This might be a stupid question, since my knowledge about Exchange is really poor... Since I've got iPhone, I have noticed that IMAP mailbox support is quite crippled in this device - in comparison to Exchange mailboxes... As I assume that it would be easier to convince Bill Gates to install linux than to convince Steve Jobs to change anything in his "perfect phone", I

Web-based shared calendar synchronizable with Outlook
Hi, I know this request is a a little off-topic but may be interesting for dovecot users (at least i hope!) Does anybody has already had an experience with a calendar sharing solution including a webcalendar and an outlook connector, "compatible" with dovecot ? Today, there are many projects aiming to be a "M$ Exchange Killer" (such as Zimbra, OBM, open-exchange, etc) but

Speex hardware requirements?
Compared to todays PDAs the GameBoy Advance (GBA) is low spec. it has a 16MHz ARM7tdmi RISC processor. 32-bit but it can handle 16-bit instructions in a mode that resembles "bytecode" (a 32-bit instruction is executed using a 16-bit instruction). I got a feeling that the GBA would need a FPU. For more information on the GBA visit this info page:

PDA as source client
Has anybody used anything other than a PC as a source for icecast2? Are PDAs powerfull enough? I know vorbis encoding takes a signifigant amount of CPU power, but I've been able to do it on 4 year old PCs. Does a 206MHz Intel StrongARM 32-bit RISC processor have as much power as a 200 Mhz Pentium? I'm thinking Compaq iPaq, running Familiar Linux and IceS, would make a nice portable

Speex hardware requirements?
Hi evrybody, I wonder witch hardware requirements it is for speex decoding (especially 16kHz mono sound). Could it be possible to use the Gameboy advance hardware if you added a FPU? or dose it need to be more powerfull? ----------------------------- Reclaim Your Inbox! http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/ Rediscover The Web! http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

What project should I use ?
I am going to list my current plans for rebuilding a Law Firm?s network. I hope that someone will be able to tell me which project (samba or samba-tng) would be a better choice, or if staying with MS is the only choice. If my plan could be changed for the better, input would be greatly appreciated: A lot of this information is useless for my questions, but I am throwing it in anyway. --------

Stall on CPU
Hi, I have been receiving messages on a new DomU''s kern.log. I''ve done a lot of googling, but haven''t came up with anything very useful, at least not in a Xen context. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about what could be wrong. From everything I have read, there should be a stack trace included, but I am not seeing one. Thanks in advance, Ian. on
