Postfixadmin/MySQL/Dovecot 2 and quota
Hi all,
I'm setting up a new email server based on the softwares list below:
* Postfix
* Dovecot 2.0.9
* MySQL
* Postfixadmin 2.3.6
My current problem is I'm unsure whether quota feature is well
configured or not.
In order to test and validate, I use Roundcubemail GUI which provides
percentage of the space used by the mailbox (quota should be applied per
mailbox).
Here, my

Problem with quota update in dovecot 1.2
Hi
A have a problem with quota2 table, working under postfixadmin. When I
login into imap server with thunderbird client everything works fine,
quota is update when i receive a message, but when I move message to
trash or any other folder value for messages field in table quota2
increases +1 instead decreases or have still this same value. Only if I
close my imap client value descending -2.

Quota, Postgres + Postfixadmin
Hi everybody,
i am currently testing dovecot-1.2.9 together with postfix, postgres and
postfixadmin.
After setting up the basics, i wanted to get the quotas working...
So i edited the dovecot.conf:
mail_plugins = quota imap_quota
mail_plugins = sieve quota
quotadict = pgsql:/etc/dovecot/dovecot-dict-quota.conf
quota = dict:user::proxy::quotadict
and dovecot-dict-quota.conf:

Solved? - Re: Understanding quotas
I spent an evening, again, reading up on quota. This time I think my
search foo was strong enough. I found guidance and came up with the
following:
sed -i -e "s/#quota = /sqlquota = /w /dev/stdout"
/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf
Sets up a dovecot dictionary of sqlquota to the default file of
/etc/dovecot/dovecot-dict-sql.conf.ext

disable quota for all users
Dear all,
On a new server (postfix dovecot postfixadmin Centos)
I did define quota=0 in postfixadmin
However suddenly a user with more than 9Gb of mail got his mailbox new/cur
empty and maillog shows:
Sep 3 15:43:56 mail16 dovecot: lda(brouwerb at scholarium.nl): Error: sieve:
msgid=<alpine.LRH.2.20.1509031543050.16381 at streaming2.antenna.nl>: failed

Understanding quotas
Just to level-set, I am using Centos7-arm which supplies Dovecot
2.2.10. I don't have access to a arm build or mock environment and use
what is available (I DID try to install them but had dependency issues).
Much of what I have is from campworld, but some I have picked up from
other Centos mailserver builders.
Also I am using Postfixadmin which provides quotas per user in mysql

Quota for Shared Folders
Good morning list,
first of all: dovecot works really great, the performance is
overwhelming (especially compared to courier), the configuration
flexible as hell, it is good documented - I love this software.
But as things get complicated, I think I need some additional help.
I'm using dovecot to replace the currently used courier-mailserver in a
shared hosting environment based on

problems with quota and clients
Hi, I had configured dovecot in a pretty standard way and had it working
nicely enough with maildir quotas (no tests done apart for reaching the
quota and looking at mails coming back). Still I wanted to have the
quota and the actual quota usage displayed in postfixadmin (3.5) but I
think I messed with something. Now I can connect to the mailbox, send
mail, receive mail, see the quota usage

issues with ACL and Public Namespaces
Hi all,
after configuring dovecot to serve private and Public Namespaces per
domain with ACLs per shared folder, everything worked great:
In every shared folder I created a "dovecot-acl"-file with the
permissions of every user:
> user=user5 at example.com
> user=user6 at example.com lrwstiea
The subscriptions are handled with "subscriptions=no", so every local
