CentOS 6 : TigerVNC auto disconnect in version 1.1.0-18
Hi,
When TigerVNC was updated from version 1.1.0-16.el6 to 1.1.0-18.el6, our VNC client kept getting killed after connecting for about 180s. We had to downgrade back to -16 to avoid this issue.
We have a setup which allows users to log into our system via a web browser, with TigerVNC as the VNC server, noVNC as the client, and connecting via Websockify. With the update of TigerVNC, the VNC client

- tigervnc-server with kde
Hi all
I have a problem in the configuration of tigervnc-server-use centos 6.1
and tigervnc-server version is that which lies in the repo
I followed the following steps:
- tigervnc-installed
- added the user in the section /etc/sysconfig/vncservers
- set a password using the vncpasswd
- left by default the xstartup file created
- restart vncserver service

tigervnc-server-module crashes after EL 6.3 update
We began experiencing failed vnc connections to the console display on
servers that have been updated to EL 6.3. No such failures have occurred
on similar connections to EL 6.2 servers.
On the client machine a normal vncviewer display appears with the
expected graphical login until the mouse pointer is moved within the
boundaries of the vncviewer window. At this point the window closes and

Strange vncserver behavior
I got vncserver working per:
https://www.tecmint.com/install-and-configure-vnc-server-in-centos-7/
Then I went to set up a second instance, and have that for logging on to
root:
==========
cp /lib/systemd/system/vncserver at .service
/etc/systemd/system/vncserver@:2.service
vi /etc/systemd/system/vncserver@\:2.service
replace <USER> with root
systemctl daemon-reload
systemctl start

Centos 6 - tigervnc - numbers on keypad
I have a ncurses-based program that runs on a vnc desktop on a remote
computer. On Centos 5 you could enter numbers into the program using the
numeric keypad. I just installed a new machine running Centos 6 to do this
same job and now numbers can only be entered using the numbers across the top
of the keyboard. The program still recognizes the keys on the keypad when
numlock is not set (so you

Hi Jerry,
I done a lot of search in google. Than I find your post, but without success
for my problem.
I have add your xstartup file. But I can't get it working with this
startupfile.
One problem is, that I can't find the x-terminal-emulator on my machine.
Which package must I install for x-terminal-emulator in CentOS7 ?
Maybe you can have a look at my logfile and my configuration for

Full screen in Dual Monitor setup.
This question is related to Centos 6.4 running on workstations with dual
monitors attached using Nvidia drivers, twinview mode.
We've gotten stuck on a window manager specific issue with getting
'vncviewer' (tigervnc) to go full screen to both monitors.
If Gnome is the window manager, we have no issues. Hitting "F8" in
vncviewer and selecting "full screen"

6.3 missing updates and packages
Hi,
The fact that apparently the last tigervnc update from upstream was
missed triggered me to check for missing updates and packages in 6.3.
Here are my results. Sorry for any false positives that might have crept
in, but note that some of the 6_x updates actually are updates and not a
parsing error. And perhaps an occasional false positive due to having to
compare upstream SRPMS vs downstream
