Building from source on an ARM71 based router
I am trying to build Samba 4.6.4 on an ARM 7 Cortex based router (Netgear
R8000), running *DD-WRT v3.0-r31980M kongac (05/11/17)*
I'm working with some folks via the DDWRT, but we're running into an issue
trying to build from source.
I have python 2.7 already installed on the router, and I'm executing the
install_with_python.sh script.
./install_with_python.sh /opt/test/samba-4.6.4

Building from source on an ARM71 based router
No, sorry, it's actually failing on "configure" which this script calls. I
should have been more clear.
./configured is failing at step: *Checking uname sysname type*
It's obviously missing some app/header/library, but reading through all the
breakpoints listed in the error (re-pasted below) I can't make out from the
code what it's looking for, and the config.log

[LLVMdev] [DragonEgg] Strange call to @"\01__isoc99_fscanf"
Dear all,
First of all, Merry Christmas! :)
While testing a File I/O sample program, I've encountered a link failure
due to missing implementation of "\01__isoc99_fscanf" function. I think
this function should be named "__isoc99_fscanf" instead. Please see the
program code and LLVM IR generated by DragonEgg and clang below. It shows
that clang generates

Samba4 shares slow
Hi there
I set up a POC domain with multiple DCs, multiple remote sites and samba
shares. This POC is a simulation of a whole samba3 domain migration.
Users, and groups have been imported from the older domain to the new one.
Here's the setup:
("Remote sites" are actually different subnets on the same location for
the POC)
*Main Site*:
DC1 (RHEL7 - samba 4.6.4)
DC2 (RHEL7 -

Puppet IPA client setup
Hi everyone,
I have already started documented and building this privately.
However I refuse to believe that there is not a module for setting up a
FreeIPA client server on RHEL to authenticate against an existing IPA
authentication server.
Has anyone actually already done this? If not I will probable post a link
to this email with the puppet module I have built.
Regards
John

Experimenting with CentOS IPA Server
Hi Everyone,
I have been able to install all of the RPMS related to the recently
announced CentOS IPA server and am at the point where I have run
/usr/sbin/ipa-server-install.
This completes but I see the following output which concerns me
[8/16]: creating indices

[LLVMdev] how to compile several files at ipa level using LLVM?
Hi,all:
I download the 2.0 source and compile the llvm-gcc and llvm source code
successfully. now try to compile the following two files using linking time
optimization:
a.c:
#include <stdio.h>
extern foo(int *x);
int main()
{
int x = 5;
foo(&x);
printf("x = %d\n",x);
}
b.c:
void foo(int *x)
{
*x = 8;
}
now after reading some tutorial and documents, I use the
