Computing ergodic mean with CODA
Hi all,
I would like to compute ergodic mean using MCMC output from WinBUGS. I
tried using CODA package, but it seems that it is not implemented yet.
Could anyone help me to compute this? Attached to this email are my
output and index files.
Kind regards,
Raquel

venneuler() - customize a few things.
Esteemed UseRs and DevelopeRs,
Just coming to terms with the very attractive proportional venn
gernator, venneuler(), but would like to customize a few things.
Is it possible to-
-suppress all circle labels?
-suppress only certain circle labels?
-print specific text strings at specified locations within the circles?
and unions?
-specify circle colors?
-specify label font, size & color?

heatmap.2() yielding an inappropriate key?
Esteemed R-users,
heatmap.2() is yielding an inappropriate key based on my colors and
break-points.
In the reproducible example below, the key is inappropriate (to me) because-
1. 'Orange' is simply not represented in the key, despite its prescence
in the heatmap.
2. The proportions of the key are clearly out, ie., my largest bin, (0.1
- 0.2) is half the range, but this bin (colored

locating boxplot in bwplot (lattice)
Hello
I am using lattice bwplot to draw migration distance of three groups of
birds.
The boxplots from the left to right is displayed
in alphabetic order of the boxplot names, as the default setting.
However, I would like the boxplots from the left to right to be displayed
according to the migration distance from the short values to the long ones.
In the data below, from the left to the

Swap memory: I can't reconcile this stuff.
I need to look more into it, but before I start the long and arduous
"googling my life away" process, I figured someone might know the
answer. I've read the man pages several times and they didn't change!
:-(
As normal, while looking at one thing, something else bites my butt. I
tuned on the swap field in top and sort on it. Here's an edited snippet
of the results.

using the design matrix to correctly configure contrasts
Esteemed R-forum subscribers,
I'm having a tough time configuring contrasts for my 3-way ANOVA. In short:
I don't know how to configure (all) my contrasts correctly in order to
specify (all) my comparisons of interest.
I succeeded getting my contrasts of interest set up for a simpler 2-way
ANOVA based on the fairly intuitive logic of the design col.names.
But i'm not able to
