I have CentOS 5 installed on a few Dell PE2950 systems. ? ?The SMART daemon claims the drives included with the server do not support SMART, which rather surprised me. What, then, are my options for monitoring the health of the server hard drives? ?It would be nice to have some service running I could email to myself on the status of each drive. Thanks. Scott

I am having an issue with Megacli when adding or removing virtual disks. I will post a link to fpaste that has the issue shown. In brief whenever i add, or remove, a virtual disk via MegaCli the attempt succeeds and the adapter is configured but the OS remounts dm-0 in read only. dm-0 is my root lv. Hi, I have installed b_78 on a Dell 2950 and booting to bare metal works fine but when I try to boot using the grub entry Solaris xVM it will boot to the point where it displays the uname info and then just stays there.
