CentOS rpm package installation
Hello
I am not a linux expert.
The output of uname -r on my system returns:
2.6.32-696.3.1.el6.x86_64
hence I am trying to install this rpm:
sudo yum install nut-2.7.4-9.fc27.x86_64.rpm
but I got failed dependencies.
Is there a repository I am supposed to set up to get those dependencies
from?
Regards
Ambrogio

unrecognized device string
greetings one and all.
last 2 kernels, 2.6.32-696.3.2.el6.x86_64 and 2.6.32-696.3.1.el6.x86_64
fail to boot with err "unrecognized device string".
kernel 2.6.32-696.1.1.el6.x86_64 boots without problem.
how do i find what device string is problem?
tia.

Device not supported?
Hello
I am trying to install the NUT on CentOS 6 (2.6.32-696.3.1.el6.x86_64).
First I installed it using:
yum install epel-release --enablerepo=extras
yum install nut
And when I run it by:
sbin/upsdrvctl start
(that's where it installed it using the package)
I had the following message:
"This TrippLite device (09ae:1330) is not (or perhaps not yet) supported by
usbhid-ups. [...]"

ACL problems on shared folder
Hello,
I've a Dovecot Server Version 2.2.30.2 running on CentOS 6.9
and there's a problem with acls on shared folder. We have
some mailboxes which are shared and used as a "group mailbox"
and also some user who share their inbox and only the inbox
when they are on holiday e.g..
When I set
"acl_defaults_from_inbox = yes"
it's not possible to restrict the access

rawlog segfaults (error 4 in libdovecot.so.0.0.0)
rawlog files are plain text, readable files. you do not need to dump
them with doveadm. can you get gdb "bt full" for the core file?

Hello everybody,
i tried to debug imap sessions with the rawlog feature and rawlog
creates files but when i try to dump them doveadm tells me
[...] Error: zlib.read((file)): unexpected EOF at [...].
I looked at syslog files and i see, that rawlog gets
terminated with a segfault, e.g.:
