attempt to access beyond end of device XFS Disks
Hi,
I rebooted some CEPH servers with 24 HDs and do get some messages for
some of the disks:
[ 519.667055] XFS (sdk1): Mounting V4 Filesystem
[ 519.692307] XFS (sdk1): Ending clean mount

System shutdown on OOM
Hello all,
had an issue on with a virtualmachine on XenServer 7.0 yesterday. It is
a Centos 7.4.1708 and in a OOM situation it just shut down.
No kernel panic where I could see a message, but it just turned itself off.
All I could see in the /var/log/messages was the following:

Thanks Patrick,
Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. I tried booting with an older
kernel (3.10.0-514.21.1.el7.x86_64) and/or downgrading rpcbind to
rpcbind-0.2.0-38.el7.x86_64 (all three combinations: each one separately
and both at the same time), but it didn't work.

domain join RODC failed
*Resend to the list*
Hi,
i had the same problem.
The Solution was to check the permissions on NC for Enterprise Read-only domain controllers group.
Here some additional information: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2022387/troubleshooting-ad-replication-error-8453-replication-access-was-denied. Look at "Fix Invalid Default Security Descriptors"
