HP Envy EFI problem after BIOS update
All of the following is still under the Centos 7 KDE Live CD: If I mount /dev/sda2 on /media and have a look, this is the valid EFI filesystem, including the Fedora and Centos entries. If I try to mount /dev/sda6 on /media it looks to be a valid /boot filesystem. If I mount /dev/sda6 as /boot and mount /dev/sda2 as /boot/efi before running Jim's efibootmgr command will I fix the problem

kmod-nvidia problems
Hi List, I use the kmod-nvidia package on my CentOS workstations. Always this has "just worked". Doing a yum update this morning I now get this: 09:15:28 : ERROR: Package: kmod-nvidia-367.57-2.el7.elrepo.x86_64 (elrepo) Requires: kernel(drm_atomic_helper_plane_reset) = 0xabd4c98d Installed: kernel-3.10.0-327.28.2.el7.x86_64 (@updates)

vfs_streams_depot
Hi, I have configured vfs_streams_depot to support some NTFS metadata. The metadata files are being created but permissions are not inherited from their parent objects. Only a user who created the metadata has full access to it. For example, we have one file object "file1" and few users having full access to it. If one user creates metadata information all other users cannot read nor

CentOS 7, memory hungry (2.5GB) without user and heavy services running
Hello, The last weekend, the VM with CentOS 7 (kernel-3.10.0-327.28.2.el7.x86_64) was running with 2.5GB of used memory, but without users connected, and heavy services running. Three minutes after reboot, the o.s. is running with 114MB used. ?Why the 62% of memory is used if the o.s. does not have an intensive load? top sorted by memory: top - 12:55:34 up 8 days, 21:41, 1 user, load
