pgadmin3 missing dependencies
I searched the list archives and I found one answer to this which
suggested I should install the PG yum repos. I don't like that
answer for reasons which follow.
I'm running Centos 6.0 freshly installed, and I've decided that with
this box I'm sticking as much as possible to just the CentOS repos
that go with that release. I figure in particular I do not need any

* is crashing, when the call is accepted (H.323 -> SIP)
I'v got the following scenario: Two clients (ohphone) are calling (one
at a time) the host with asterisk, which then connects to the SIP
client.
One of these hosts let's asterisk crash with a segmentation fault (i can
provide the core file, if needed) in the second, the SIP client accepts
the call. However .. if that client get's to the voicemail instead,
because the SIP client is

Oh323 segmentation fault in asterisk...
This looks like the same case as the thread:
Problem ATA-711-723-Oh323-Asterisk that was posted back in August.
Although, given the nature of trampled memory problems it could be almost
anything.
The Oh323 library dies in a call to realloc. This is almost certainly
indicative of someone stomping on memory somewhere previously, or else a
memory bug in the pwlib library itself. (Which I find

Skipping framework in new initializer doesn't skip framework
Hi,
rails-0.14.2/lib/initializer.rb states:
# This initialization routine does nothing unless <tt>:active_record</tt>
# is one of the frameworks to load (Configuration#frameworks). If it is,
# this sets the database configuration from
Configuration#database_configuration
# and then establishes the connection.

Please ignore. Sorry for the garbage on the list. I had accidently
pasted this at the bottom of environment.rb
ActiveRecord::Base.establish_connection

Threads and Active Reccord
Yeah, this is fun!
So I''m trying to check a bunch of websites to see if they''ve been updated
since the last time I check them. I''m using threads and SizedQueue to grab
sets of "feed" objects out of the database, then send them off to be
downloaded and compared to existing records.
I sometimes get this error, which I don''t understand:

Problem with asterisk+gnugk
Hi!
I'm trying to build gnugk with asterisk. Asterisk is working well with chan_h323
built with needed PWlib v.1.5.2 and open H.323 v.1.12.2.
But gnugk' s installing instructions says that I need latest PWlib(1.17.1) and
openh323 to get gnugk work. Now, with installed pwlib and openh323 gnugk's
compiling fails and I get error 1.
Do you have any working solutions with asterisk and

[BioC] problem with biomaRt getHomolog function
Steffen,
When the new biomaRt tries to load it errors out because I do not have
RMySQL installed. There is not a Windows binary for RMySQL and it does
contain C code that I do not know how to build.
I do not use the MySQL option in biomaRt. Does RMySQL need to be a
required dependency? Below is my screen output and sessionINfo.
require(biomaRt)

Human readable user names vanishing from acls
When setting file permissions from MS environment to a file on a Samba4
share, it can be made in clear text with human readable user/group names
and the rights seem to work.
However when checking the permissions again from an MS environment, instead
of human readable user/group names there are plain SID numbers in their
place and there is an icon apparently signifying an unknown SID. How to
keep
