New winetricks 20080402: new verbs dotnet20, win2k, flash, msls31; updated mono, liberation
Big news: as of today or so, wine doesn't need any patches to install the .net 2.0 runtime or run trivial .net 2.0 apps, so I've added a dotnet20 verb. No more futzing with recipes to try out simple .net 2 apps, huzzah! There are lots of other little changes, too: 20080402 r21 Added dotnet20, removed one kludge from dotnet11, added win2k verb, plus shorthand for winver=foo r20

How are the preferred fonts set?
What determines how the preferred fonts are set? Is it in the registry? Can they be changed? I'm asking because I recently installed the new wine-0.9.12-mdk and was surprised at the way the order of preferred fonts changed when compared with the older wine that was supplied with Mandriva-2006. By removing fonts one at a time from the drive_c/windows/fonts directory I could see the order of

Pango/cairo and symbol fonts
Excuse my asking here than on R-help, but it may be a Fedora question. On Fedora 7, I'm running a fresh R 2.7.1 built from source, usually in en_GB, but also tried in en_GB.UTF8. Running example(plotmath) generates lots of: Pango-WARNING **: shape engine failure, expect ugly output. the offending font is 'Symbol Not-Rotated ...' Setting: x11(type="Xlib") relieves the
