Is it possible to synchronize locally the CR repo?
We usually synchronize all repositories in our internal network via
the third-party mirrors, but since the CR repo won't be available
there, it would

CentOS-6.0 Continuous Release ( CR ) repository
I don't really understand the function of this repository,
or rather why the RPMs in it are not in the standard repository?
I read the outline at
<http://wiki.centos.org/AdditionalResources/Repositories/CR>,
and added the repository on two CentOS machines.
On yum-updating some 450MB of updates were installed.
Both machines appear to be running perfectly well.

CR instead of CR/LF
New to Samba, so excuse me if this is a stupid question, but I've searched
the different on line resources and can't find an answer.
When I copy Perl scripts from my Windows 2000 machine to the UNIX Samba
share on that same machine, a CR/LF appears at the end of each line instead
of just the CR, making UNIX unhappy when I go to run those scripts.
Any way to have Samba strip the LF

Unexplained size difference with CentOS 7 (1503) -01 install media
In the process of updating my copy of the CentOS 7 (1503) -01 install

Interop problem with IPSSH-6.6.0, CR/NL?
I have a curious problem connecting with OpenSSH (5.1p1 on FreeBSD,
6.0-beta on OpenBSD) to some managed switches running "IPSSH-6.6.0".
When I connect to the switch with the SSH2 protocol, I can't use
the switch's CLI, because I can't terminate a command line. I press
<Enter> and nothing happens. Same for ^M (CR) and ^J (NL).
When I connect to the switch with SSH1

5.9: wait, or CR?
Hey, folks,
I just saw Johnny mention 5.9 yesterday, and this morning, my manager
tells me he got about 100 emails from somewhere about 5.9 and a CR
repo. So, my questions to the team is: is there a CR repo, and is there
some urgency to enabling it, or shall we just wait for the release?
The *only* thing I can think of having real issues with is the newest
PIV cards....

POP +OK CR LF Question
HI. I just finished installing a new mail server running CentOS Ver 4. and
I am running sendmail with devecot 0.99.11.
Everything is working fine except for a customer of mine is using a tool
that does pop requests. And his tool
is failing waiting on a CR LF in the +OK. I did a small hex dump of my old
pop and the dovecot pop and
he is right. Docevot POP does not end its +OK with a CR LF. I

Thanks for the CR packages!
Thank you, developers, for the continuous release packages. It's nice
to get a head start on testing 6.5 for wider release.
So far -- one VM, one dev server -- so good!

CR 6483250 closed: will not fix
ZFS fans,
Recalling our conversation about hot-plug and hot-swap terminology and use,
I afraid to say that CR 6483250 has been closed as will-not-fix. No explaination
was given. If you feel strongly about this, please open another CR and pile on.
*Change Request ID*: 6483250
*Synopsis*: X2100 release notes inconsistent with Sun terminology, confuses customers

OpenSSH not compliant with RFC 4253? (Protocol Version Exchange string not ending with CR LF)
(Maybe this is a re-posting: sorry for that.)
Hello,
a SonicWALL appliance that protects my servers' LAN has suddenly begun to
refuse OpenSSH connections with the following message:
'SSH 2.0 Overly Long Protocol Version Exchange String, SID: 3696,
Priority: High - This signature detects overly long "Protocol Version

cr repository when running your own mirror
Hi,
what is the right way to deal with the new cr repository for centos 5
when you are running your own mirror. In particular the following
statement I don't fully understand:
- Once 5.7 is released, the 5.6/cr/ repositories will be removed ( they
will not be available on vault.centos.org )
Christian.
