PXE Error Reporting
Hello, I've recently ran into a problem trying to boot over TFTP using pxelinux.0. On the console, I got the following message: Could not find ramdisk image: initramfs-3.10.0-123.13.2el7.x86_64 It took me a while to figure out that the file *could* be found but that the file permissions were set wrong and the file couldn't be read. At the protocol level (tcpdump), the server

Where's the debuginfo?
Hello all, According to [CentOS-announce] Release for CentOS Linux 7 (1503 ) on x86_64: "Debuginfo packages are also being signed and pushed. Yum configs shipped in the new release file will have all the context required for debuginfo to be available on every CentOS Linux install." Specifically, I'm looking for kernel-debuginfo-3.10.0-229.1.2.el7.x86_64, but the latest debuginfo

Centos 7 | Rebind ctrl + alt + f# keystroke to application
Hello, I am new to Centos and this mailing list. I have an application (IntelliJ IDEA) which uses the ctrl+alt+f# key combinations to provide shortcuts. The keystrokes are bind to the ttys virtual consoles. Is there anyway to rebind the keystrokes to the application? I tried the following solution (xorg.conf edit) but my PC freezes during boot process. I had to rollback the xorg.conf changes

CentOS 7 KVM guests no longer get keystrokes after yum update
Dear all, After "yum update" and reboot on a CentOS 7 server running kvm, all VM guests fail to receive keyboard input. Even sending ctrl-alt-delete from the virt-manager "Send Key" menu is inoperative. Most guests are set up as spice + QXL, and viewed on remote X sessions using virt-manager. Extensive browsing for a solution has turned up only dead ends. I tried reverting to

build c7 packages for i686 using mock
Hi, Here's how my epel-7-i386.cfg mock file looks like: http://fpaste.org/164110/19877702/raw/ Do note the 32bit packages are unofficial and unsupported. RedHat does not support 32bit in EL7. Just a heads up, since I know gkrellm is in EPEL and not in the main CentOS repos. However, something fairly fundamental has changed, as prior to updating, gkrellm worked fine, but now every time I execute gkrellm the kernel panics. I'm going to triage on a different machine, as the panic corrupted at least one system library used by nautilus, but rpm -Va is your friend in these
