Hi Phil, Not sure if you've had time to look at this? As mentioned middleware, like docker-ce, is preventing us from moving to el8. A Request to Add module to CentOS Linux (3.10.0-1127.18.2.el7.x86_64) 7 (Core)
Hello John & Frank, We have tried both Centos8 and installing kernel-ml-5.8.6-2.el7.elrepo.x86_64.rpm but both options are too "bleeding" edge for our other middleware that still require the Centos 7 3.10.0-1127.18.2.el7.x86_64. Hence the request. Thanks On Fri, Sep 11, 2020 at 4:45 PM Frank Cox <theatre at sasktel.net> wrote: > On Thu, 10 Sep 2020 23:27:14 -0700 >

Hi Phil, ok that's great thanks. I have a colleague working through vroc/fake raid issues we're having when using kernel-ml-5.8.6-2.el7.elrepo.x86_64.rpm by switching to linux soft raid. Also we dont have a supported docker-ce for el8 yet. On Fri, Sep 11, 2020 at 9:10 PM Phil Perry <pperry at elrepo.org> wrote: > On 11/09/2020 07:59, Dedoep wrote: > > Hello John &

[PATCH 0/8] enable endian checks for all sparse builds
This is just a reposting of the patch that enables endian checks, with addition of trivial patches that drop __bitwise__ and __CHECK_ENDIAN__ everywhere. I plan to include this in my pull request unless I hear otherwise. Michael S. Hi Gordon, my dracut package is the latest available for Centos7 (this occur just after my "yum update" and reboot). It is dracut-033-568.el7.x86_64 in CentOS Linux release 7.8.2003 (Core) I'm going to rebuild my initrd as suggested with the snapshot setup. Thanks for the links. Strange index error on NFS after upgrade to CentOS 7 from 6
Hi, I'm running 3 Dovecot director and 6 Dovecot backend on CentOS 6 and Dovecot 2.3.10, with Maildir shared on NFSv3 (on NetApp). Since CentOS 6 will be EOL on November I started to upgrade to CentOS 7 the first Dovecot backend. But after Director start to direct users on new CentOS 7 server some errors, for any users, come up, an example: Aug 21 14:56:41 Error: imap(alessio at

Hi Orion, no, I still have this problem. I delay working on it as I the latest updates have not been installed on the server and on the client. I'll work again on this problem as soon as possible. Thanks Charles for your detailed information on how to track this problem. I'll check all these metrics. I have several clients for this nfs server and the problem seems only to occur from the

[PATCH 5/8] linux: drop __bitwise__ everywhere
__bitwise__ used to mean "yes, please enable sparse checks unconditionally", but now that we dropped __CHECK_ENDIAN__ __bitwise is exactly the same. There aren't many users, replace it by __bitwise everywhere. Signed-off-by: Michael S.
