In an architecture where we have Samba running on RHEL exposing shares to Windows, when we have 1 large 1GB file, the write performance to storage is very fast, even over distances of 5000 miles. However, even writes to local Samba servers, with 100 10MB files being copied onto a shared drive, Windows Explorer is MUCH slower. I don't know if it's really Samba, but more than likely Windows.

Hi, It seems the default binaries don't have CDB tables compiled into them ? Now, I know Centos isn't Ubuntu, but on Ubuntu there is an optional package in the main distribution "postfix-cdb - CDB map support for Postfix". Hello, looking at the metadata for EPEL and IUS, neither seem to carry PHP 7.4. It is EOL anyway, so you should migrate to PHP 8. I need to upgrade PHP because the latest WordPress requires one at least at 5.2.4. What are the tradeoffs of using the php53 packages provided by CentOS versus IUS? I've seen that installing the RHEL-derived php53 requires removing php first and it creates package conflicts because it doesn't provide a virtual php-common package. That suggests I should install the IUS package. Is
