Hi all, I successfully virt-p2v'ed a Windows 10 laptop to my Centos 7.3 instance running KVM. However, on boot, the guest hangs. Is there a registry fix that is needed after the P2V is done? Here is what is in the guest's logfile: 017-01-08 03:20:37.508+0000: starting up libvirt version: 2.0.0, package: 10.el7_3.2 (CentOS BuildSystem <http://bugs.centos.org>, 2016-12-06-19:53:38,

QXL and VRAM settings in Virsh/Virt-Manager
Hello list, Having a bit of an issue with virt-manager and virsh on Fedora 19/20. I've created several virtual guest machines, one of them is Windows. I've selected QXL and everything is working normally. The only part that's giving me trouble is that I'm unable to set the QXL VRAM higher than 64mb. This would be very useful for performance reasons. I've edited the XML

Hi, I have a fedora25 system with a Windows10 host and would like to use it for photoshop. However, it complains the video memory is too low. I've adjusted the vram parameter for the guest to 512M with QXL, but photoshop still reports "3D features and some filters require 512MB vRAM and photoshop has detected less than that on your system." virt-v2v: default graphics driver for SUSE guests
Hi Mike, in 2013 you added the support for SUSE guests in the old virt-v2v (the one written in Perl); the commit doing it is attached, since the old virt-v2v was hosted on fedorahosted.org, which is no more. As part of that change, the default graphics driver was changed to be cirrus for SUSE guests, and qxl (as before) for any other. When Rich Jones rewrote virt-v2v in 2014 in OCaml, he kept

virt-manager issues?
Hi, A short while ago I renamed two VMs by shutting them down, lvrenaming the storage devices and adjusting the storage path and vm name using "virsh edit". This works fine so far and "virsh list" shows them correctly however virt-manager has gone bonkers and still shows them with the old names and alternating between the status "Shutoff" and "Running"
