My work around currently is to type the password first, then my userid

Recommendations for image malware detection?
Hello all -- This is not a CentOS specific question, but I have a feeling some of you are involved in enterprise malware efforts, so here goes. Does anyone have recommendations for malware detection that includes detection in image files? I'm looking for something that could be integrated into a batch cron process as opposed to a client end download check. Thanks. --

Boot failed on latest CentOS 7 update
Questions re this statement in the ZDNET article -- "In all cases, users reported that downgrading systems to a previous release to reverse the BootHole patches usually fixed their problems." A previous release of what? GRUB2 So that's my first question. Second. I'm assuming the the muti-screen UEFI settings I see are standard for more recent BIOS -- not sure of version. Do

how to determine what's installed from a repository?
Hello all-- I am trying to determine what I have isntalled from a given repository. I have seen several references to "yum repo-pkgs" which I think is what would work for me, but "repo-pkgs" does not seem to be a part of yum 3.2.29. What causes phantom update nags?
My Update Applet keeps giving me messages to install an update to a package I do not have installed.
