How to configure VLAN in CentOS7
Hi, I encountered a problem when creating a VLAN interface according to the Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux-7-Networking_Guide. I configuered the parent interface ifcfg-eno1 as follows: DEVICE=eno1 TYPE=Ethernet BOOTPROTO=none ONBOOT=yes And I created a new file named ifcfg-eno1.5, the content is: DEVICE=eno1.5 BOOTPROTO=none ONBOOT=yes IPADDR=192.168.81.3 PREFIX=24

My guess would be that the switch isn't configured to give you access to VLAN 5 with tagged packets.

ssh failure from CentOS7 to Centos6
Hi, I have a strange problem with a freshly installed Centos7 desktop (most8pc25). I can't ssh to 2 CentOS6 servers, even with firewall disabled on the client and on the server. But I can connect from the server to the client, all in the same VLAN. I can also ssh from this desktop to centos7 servers in the same VLAN or in another VLAN. No idea about this problem. On the server kareline

答复: 答复: How to configure VLAN in CentOS7
Thank you again. I am deploying Liberty Neutron, according the official document, there are two NIC at least, but my physical machine has only one. Someone suggested me I could create a vlan interface, then everything would be ok. Until now, though I created the vlan interface, it can't attach to the Internet. Could other methods created virtual interface instead of vlan interface? Thanks

Airprint to old printer using Centos server
Hi folks, I've found a number of articles on setting up a Linux / CUPS / Avahi server to allow airprinting, but they all seem to be quite old. Two questions: 1) Does anyone have a link for a more recent article, hopefully specifically for Centos7. 2) I'm on a structured, VLAN network. Will I have to put a WIFI card into my Centos server to give it a presence on the WIFI before this

Guest still receive packet with vlan tag (SR-IOV transparent VLAN)
Hello everyone, I'm having problem with SR-IOV transparent VLAN. My host is Fedora 22 and my guest is: pfSense 2.3. The NIC is Intel 82576. I'm using pfSense Packet Capture to check the packet and find that inbound packet still have the vlan tag. The outbound packet seem fine because the router can receive DHCP discover packet from the guest and then send DHCP offer and ARP request

Kickstart from tagged VLAN?
I've searched around but haven't found a definitive answer yet, is it possible to kickstart from a tagged VLAN? I found this bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=431915 But I can't find out how far the vlan support goes. I haven't found anything about it in any kickstart docs. I have two tagged vlans: Vlan 100 - server subnet Vlan 101 - backup subnet From
