Can't verify gpg signature for the file with hashes for the CentOS 7
Hello there. I've just downloaded the CentOS v7.0 via torrent and am trying to verify the gpg signature for the file with hashes. When I do "gpg --verify sha256sum.txt.asc" I get the key ID of F4A80EB5. Then I'm trying to get the public key with "gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys F4A80EB5" command. The gpg returns error of "no valid OpenPGP data

Hi. I try to install openvpn at my centos 7 server (CentOS Linux release 7.6.1810 (Core)). According to many tutorials at the internet, I was using yum install epel-release -y to enable the repo. weird RPM dependency error; '/bin/sh' needed, but is provided
First off, I have to admit that I'm uncertain if this is the appropriate forum; I'd be happy for suggestions about where else to look. I'm doing this work on a stock install of CentOS-7-x86_64-Minimal-1810.iso, with no updates. I'm trying to create an RPM database from a custom set of RPMs. One RPM ('openldap-ltb' from the LDAP Tool Box project (ltb-project.org) has a

Hi, #tcsh#machine# gpg --verify openssh-4.1p1.tar.gz.asc openssh-4.1p1.tar.gz gpg: Signature made Wed May 25 08:26:24 2005 EDT using DSA key ID 86FF9C48 gpg: BAD signature from "Damien Miller (Personal Key) <djm at mindrot.org>" I made sure that I had the same key loaded that the signature was made with, but that didn't change the error. How can I use Adehabitat to obtain an .asc object with the predicted values of a niche model?
Dear all, I'm using the package adehabitat in R to import several .asc files (=matrix), and also create a kasc object (=dataframe) with all of them. The main idea is to use this kasc object to map the predicted values of climate-matching model for an overall area. However, I don't know how to proceed: Do I have to project the model (already stored in R) onto the kasc object directly, or

Yam not generating repomd.xml
I think I have obeyed the docs. Metadata in yam conf says repomd (formerly createrepo but led to "unexisting --update option" message). Conf is otherwise pretty close to examples. I have downloaded Centos 4.4 ISOs, I have done yam -gv, ISO files are correctly mounted and published via HTTP, etc but no xml files are generated anywhere under /var/www/yam. What am I overlooking? Can I have

Thunderbird 38.4.0 not offered, see it in packages, repomd outdated?
Hi, first: I did several yum clean all's :-) Thunderbird 38.4.0 is not offered. I see: http://mirror.centos.org/centos/6/updates/x86_64/Packages/thunderbird-38.4.0-1.el6.centos.x86_64.rpm - 27-Nov-2015 06:58 - 56M But: http://mirror.centos.org/centos/6/updates/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml - 18-Nov-2015 20:00 - 3.4K Shouldn't repomd also be updated or am I mistaken? Thanks Patrick
