[LLVMdev] [lld] Undefined symbols postprocessing
Hi everyone, In lld, I need to conditionally add symbols (like GLOBAL_OFFSET_TABLE) during static linking because they may be used by relocations (R_ARM_TLS_IE32) or by some other stuff like STT_GNU_IFUNC symbols. The problem is that now symbols are added in a declarative way by specifying in ExecutableWriter::addDefaultAtoms() override. At that stage, there's no way to determine if

[LLVMdev] [lld] Undefined symbols postprocessing

Do you want to do that before or after dead code elimination? I think dead code elimination should be performed after all possible object code modifications done by lld. Therefore, it should be

[LLVMdev] [lld] Undefined symbols postprocessing
Okay, I understood that you're proposing to add all undefined symbols during the resolution step, and not try to collect extra symbols during execution and then check if some undefines left (as I originally planned). This sounds reasonable as in any case we must have all undefines resolved in order to continue the linking process. Concerning the implementation, why not to add this virtual

Service Resources and Selinux
Hi list, I''ve got an issue at the moment, which isn''t really a big problem, but an untidy annoyance really, and I''d just like to understand what the best practice might be when dealing with the issue. As a really quick summary, the issue is that Puppet is starting up the mysqld service for the first time as unconfined_u, and then when MySQL goes and creates a load

libvirt, selinux, moving images to ~/images does not work
Hi! I am trying libvirt on POWERPC64 with the default settings such as selinux enabled. It is all good till I move images out of /var/lib/libvirt/images/. http://libvirt.org/drvqemu.html#securityselinux is saying that "If attempting to use disk images in another location, the user/administrator must ensure the directory has be given this requisite label. Likewise physical block devices

CUPS drivers for wide printer
I found the .ppd for our brand new HP z3200ps 44" printer - a coworker got me the one from the Mac, and I edited it to separate out the Mac-only commands (there's even an #ifdef in ppd language), and it prints; I don't even need postprocessing, apparently... except that even though it knows how wide the paper is (in this case, a 24" wide roll that came with the printer), it

Securing SSH wiki article outdated
Hi, just a quick note to whoever is maintaining this page: http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Network/SecuringSSH The procedure is missing the firewall-cmd calls necessary in EL7: firewall-cmd --add-port 2345/tcp firewall-cmd --add-port 2345/tcp --permanent Also, it may be worth mentioning that semanage is in the policycoreutils-python package, which isn?t installed by default in all stock

Issues trying to change the selinux context
We're forced to use Siteminder, by CA, who have no clue what they're doing in *nix. No packages, tarballs... Anyway, I'm trying clean up some stuff, and in /*/smwa/webagent/bin (all their binaries, including .so's, are in there, duh... I'm trying to set the .so's to lib_t. semanage -fcontext -a -t lib_t "/<elided>/smwa/webagent/bin(/.*).so" gives me the
