Default install with local_unbound and ntpd can't be functional with incorrect date/time in BIOS: Unbound requred correct time for DNSSEC check and refuseing queries ("Jul 1 20:17:29 yellowrat unbound: [3444:0] info: failed to prime trust anchor -- DNSKEY rrset is not secure . Matching username in ssh_config
Hi all openssh devs out there. I have quite a few Host-stanzas in my .ssh/config to keep track of all the different settings and credentials needed to access all different hosts I connect to. Now I have ran in to a problem where I need to switch settings based on what user I'm trying to login to a host as. A simple case is: ssh -i rootkey root at host123 vs. ssh -i userkey username at

Network Manager / CentOS 7 / local unbound
Hello list - http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/90035/how-to-set-dns-resolver-in-fedora-using-network-manager That says it works for CentOS 5 and I *suspect* the methods there (3 listed) would work, but what is the best way with NetworkManager to set it up to use the localhost for DNS ? I'm paranoid about DNS spoofing and really prefer to have a local instance of DNSSEC enforcing

[PATCH 1/7] PCI: Restore BARs on runtime resume despite being unbound

Doesn't "runtime suspend" mean an individual device is suspended while the rest of the system remains active? If so, maybe it would be more direct to say "PCI devices not bound to a driver cannot be runtime

DocumentTermMatrix - text minig
Hi All, I have a Data.frame that looks like that one below. I would like to do some text mining on it to possibly find some patterns between Opis, ACklasifikacija and Vodja. I looked over a tm package which loks promissing, more specifically DocumentTermMatrix or TermDocumentMatrix. But I can not figure out how to change my data from data.frame to Corpus or VCorpus. Odd ssh authorized_keys problem
Hi all, I''ve just implemented a [crude] manifest to apply a set authorized_keys file to the root account of a puppet client. class rootssh_test { file { "/root/.ssh/authorized_keys": owner => root, group => root, mode => 0600, content => template("rootssh_test") } } The template has two ssh id_rsa lines in. libevent
Hello, I have been looking at the Ruby/EventMachine. First let me say it look very good. Reactor model with no threads makes for fast reliable server, and I have read about marvelous Twisted framework for Python and am glad to see something similar for Ruby. I am writing network app with Ruby threads now and it very slow, and I try new Ruby 1.9 with native threads that make it much slower.

Francis, I read in the list archives back that a future EventMachine release will support epoll on Linux (i.e., it''s in the trunk). Better still, is there a possibility that EM will rely on libevent so that it will be architecture independent (i.e. epoll on Linux, kqueue on FreeBSD/Mac OS X, /dev/poll on Solaris)? This is how memcached is implemented, and it would be helpful to be able

Upgrade to CentOS8
Hi folks I have a couple of Zotac mini PCs running CentOS7 which I want/need to upgrade to CentOS8 In theory, they are CentOS8 capable, but assuming Murphy might be lurking around, I prefer validating the hardware before starting the effective installation As there is no LiveCD, what would be the recommended way to do this? Thanks!
