pxechn.c32 not working when coming from iPXE 1.0.0
Hello,
I?m running a PXE server with syslinux-6.03 and something not right happens when a iPXE clients loads pxechn.c32 to get in a WDS server: it fails.
I?ve discovered this when we started deploying oVirt in our infrastructure and QEMU calls SeaBIOS with iPXE for network booting. All other clients works just fine. Physical machines and VMware VM?s.
I don?t know if this is a known bug or not,

PXE-E55 ProxyDHCP - No reply to request on port 4011
Hi:
First - pxelinux works great - got it up and running
with few problems.
However - I ran into a snag, I am assuming I have
a configuration issue. Here are the details.
Using: syslinux-1.75
dhcp-3.0pl1
tftp-hpa-0.29
A lot of what I have done is from:

pxelinux efi64 boot woes on hyper-v gen 2
Gene,
I found a document from IBM that explains why it didn't like Vendor-Class-Identifier option I was using "PXEClient" was causing EFI boot rooms to dummy spit, that's very useful, that combined with RTFMing the PXE specs 3.0-3.2 might solve my problem if I keep at it.

RFC 3942 notice: PXELINUX, DHCP options 208-211
Dear friends,
In accordance with RFC 3942 I would like to submit the following DHCP
options for official consideration. These options are used by PXELINUX,
which is part of the SYSLINUX distribution, and although exact usage
count is impossible to determine, is widely held to be the most widely
used method for booting Linux from a network.

Special dhcp options and PXElinux
Hi
I am trying to enable my dhcpd and pxelinux setup to use a specific
config file for a booting client. I have read the pxelinux page for
this (http://syslinux.zytor.com/pxe.php#special) but still seem to be
encountering problems.
When running the dhcpd with the '-d' debug option the daemon sees the
DHCPDISCOVER from the client and then core dumps. On the client side

Problems using "configfile" dhcp option with pxelinux
Hello,
I have been trying to use the "configfile" option in the DHCP response
to specify a specific config file when booting. When I specify this in
my /etc/dhcpd.conf file the kernel and initrd are transferred, but the
kernel does not boot. I am using v2.04 of pxelinux. I would appreciate
any help anyone might be able to give. If I remove the "configfile"
dhcp option and

UEFI PXE / split config / TFTP attempted to DHCP server, not TFTP server
All,
I realize this is not strictly a PXELINUX question. So I hope you'll
indulge me; hopefully some of these PXELINUX experts have seen this before.
And can tell me what I'm doing wrong. Or confirm my suspicions.
I have a test lab server at work. Split config. The network team manages
the DHCP servers, points to our TFTP server.
Test subnet has 3 DHCP pools. BIOS PXE, UEFI PXE and

gpxelinux
Hi All,
I'm trying to setup gpxelinux instead of pxelinux, my goal is to fetch the
configuration files and images via http.
additionally, I want to setup all servers to boot by default from PXE - the
idea is that I can control whats booted in another place, and I don't need
to physically (or virtually) go through menus or do stuff on the machine.
my basic proof of concept is:
isc dhcp

Problem with pxelinux 5.0 and memtest
Hello,
This is my first post to this list.
After searching through the archives and google searches I could not find a solution
for my memtest problem.
In previous versions of pxelinux/gpxelinux (4.04 and 4.06) I could successfully
start the memtest utility. But using pxelinux/gpxelinux versions 5.01 and 5.02 the
memtest utility does not boot and I get an error message:

Windows Server DHCP + UEFI recipe
I've found a way to support PXE booting both UEFI and BIOS architectures
with Windows Server DHCP.
This method uses a feature introduced in WinServer 2012: DHCP policies.
First, in the the DHCP console, at the IPv4 root of the server, create a
vendor class named PXEClient (UEFI x64) with the following value:
PXEClient:Arch:00007
Then create your configuration for your BIOS clients in your
