FYA (for your amusement)
Well, we knew the 'Net was invented solely for cute cat pictures. Now I
have proof that selinux is part of that conspiracy. From dmesg, on one of
my servers:

Recommendations for image malware detection?
Hello all --
This is not a CentOS specific question, but I have a feeling some of you
are involved in enterprise malware efforts, so here goes.
Does anyone have recommendations for malware detection that includes
detection in image files? I'm looking for something that could be
integrated into a batch cron process as opposed to a client end download
check.
Thanks.

how to determine what's installed from a repository?
Hello all--
I am trying to determine what I have isntalled from a given repository.
I have seen several references to "yum repo-pkgs" which I think is what
would work for me, but "repo-pkgs" does not seem to be a part of
yum 3.2.29. Is this a yum add on that I could get somewhere?

Hello all--
I kept getting messages that my old Flash Player 31 was obsolete so I
went in search of an update.
I came across several references for getting flash plugin 32 that
basically were the same as this page --

What causes phantom update nags?
My Update Applet keeps giving me messages to install an update to a
package I do not have installed. To make matters more confusing, when I
actually try to install the package it wants to update, there is a
problem with the installation.
Any tips on how to resolve this? Is this somehow caused by the
repositories I have enabled?

"Details" on Software Updates app not working
... and causing me great concern at the moment.
I've got a notification of 673 Software updates at the moment. I didn't
see anything on this list that indicated that kind of update.
Unfortunately, the "Details" option which would normally show me what
repo is providing the updates, does not seem to provide any information.
Anyone else having this problem? Not happy... :(
